WHEN: 7 months ago we agreed on a trade, I completed my half fairly quickly, thinking I'd get their half.

THEN After telling me he was going to finish my half, He opens up more commisions and trades KNOWING he owes people stuff (NOT just me.)

NOW THIS is what angered me. http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s195/pharokit2/Alex4.png he blocked me. This really is unprofessional and I really got cheated on this one. :\

EXPLAIN: Basically all stated above. Alex and I agreed on a trade about 7 months ago, I finished my half. A few months pass, and I remind him... then a few more pass, I remind him Again. He gives me the "I cancelled it" thing (as seen on one of my other reports) and tells me I'll finish it. I then see he opens more commisions and trades. His EX actually tried to do his half FOR him, as an offer. I declined, and She threatened me thinking that I was insulting her. NOW I MUST SAY: ALEX (as far as was explained) did NOT put his Ex up to this. Still, Im unsatisfied because they did not finish their part. And it was agreed HE did his own part.
After Alex limits trades to his friends only, he BLOCKS me. Which is completely the last straw.

I would avoid this person... I thought they were pretty cool at first, But I got tired of being stood up and dooped.

He blocked me before too, but for different reasons. I pointed out that his commissions were stolen/traced and he didn't believe there was any problem at all in stealing.

This pretty much summarized with my dealings. I think they worked away from this but it may be worth noting that in the past the person sold stolen work (and it wasn't just gamers icons. They also traced from another animation for other icons as well).

What I find most appalling is the shout comments on his page and a friend of his. He views the bad review as a good thing for Page views.. Not holding up your end of a trade is theft. Time is money, time went into the trade somebody got that a person will not get back, and that is theft. It is not something to boast about or take lightly.

I am sorry you did not get your end of the trade, however I would like to see your side of the conversation as well if you still have it available.

I would personally make sure you allow no wiggleroom for costs, in case he ducks out, but as this is a different sort of transaction (not an art trade), I wouldn't be too worried.

Originally the explanation was simply that they were lazy about trades. Now, suddenly, there's a reason? No, the "reason" is that they overwhelmed themselves with crap to do, and I guess now they've decided that since they're getting so many asspats, they are popular enough to simply pull a spin-job and try to make people believe it is just MEANIE-WEENIES from AB attacking them for no reason.

I am hugely, epically disappointed in this person. I, too, thought they were cool before all this shit came out. I don't know what exactly it is with some people but it seems like that stupid "haters gonna hate" meme has turned from a stupid meme into an actual attitude that people are applying to their business dealings.

God, I just... wow. I really never expected this from this person. The only thing I can think of is, like I said they must think they're so popular that they can get away with it :/

Unless those statements were made publicly on their wall, and they weren't deleted, AND their wall is viewable to non friends... no, nobody can confirm that. FB is a giant privacy leech, but there are a ton of ways to have a private convo there... via chat, PM, or even your wall if your wall is only viewable to friends.

I have to say, I don't find this to be very believable, and I think unless they provide proof of it they're saying it full well with the knowledge that nobody can prove or disprove it. Thus, their supporters will take their word at face value and give more asspats. Possibly, they're trying to rile their supporters and make them retaliate against the supposed AB "trolls"

What's even more appalling to me is all of the support they're getting. Someone even compared A_B to ED, as if we're just a group of trolls out to make people's lives miserable. Except evidence is provided and the members of this group are mature enough to study the evidence and make their own decisions.

I personally find the hypocrisy hilarious, in the worst way. Alex_Dachshund was a member here for a long time, has posted comments here and has certainly gotten use out of the community.

Buuuut suddenly, it's them under the spotlight and we're a bunch of trolling meanie-poo's.

I suppose loyalty means nothing in the face of conflict and popularity. Is Alex_Dachshund banned from here, out of curiosity? Or are they still able to post, if they did want to defend themselves properly and without bringing out a whole stable of lies?

I guess that makes me a bona fide "hater." I am embarrassed for him, though. What a crappy thing to do to ruin your reputation! He's clearly not taking complaints against him seriously. This could be a learning experience, but I don't see him recovering from these dents in his reputation. :S

I do not approve of what he did at all. I don't think there's nothing wrong with canceling trades IF the other person hasn't started their side yet. Not finishing your half of a trade after the other person has is exactly the same as commissioning someone and not paying. I really hope Alex learns from this, but the way he's been arrogantly boasting in his shouts leads me to believe he won't. :(
