Reason for repost: User was hostile and insulting in the comments, received two warnings to tone it down. Continued to be hostile, made several attack journals on FA (that were quickly deleted), insulted another user and was thus suspended for 5 days.

In reaction to 5 day suspension, he harassed another user in their personal journal and was subsequently permabanned. In response to this permaban, he went into his post and started mass-deleting comments he didn't like.

Since he has proven himself unable to handle his own behaviour responsibly, we have decided to repost where he can not control the comments. Please do not take this as an opportunity to harass Kraven, in or out of the community. Normal harassment rules still apply here and you WILL get banned for it.

Also, I love how obviously using patronising language is explained away as "how is that insulting?" as if it was never meant to be. Because it was meant in a completely innocent and affectionate way even though it was repeatedly said that it was a defensive response to being thought of to be attacked. It's like, okay, take responsibility for your words please.

I was the first one to say I wouldn't do business with him - but he really took my reasoning completely out of what I had meant. I said I wouldn't because he was attacking me and being pretty hostile, THAT'S the reason, I wasn't questioning his integrity or honesty at all and that seems to be what got him pissed off originally - because he thought people were blacklisting him 'cause they thought him a liar, but that wasn't it at all.

I mean, I spoke to him regularly in comments later, I don't understand how it blew up THIS huge.

That actually happens fairly frequently here. Many times a person has posted a warning about an artist and also made themselves look awful.

I had to raise an eyebrow at how he argued that using "princess" in a condescending way and "full retard" aren't insulting at all, but that asking a question instead of taking his word as gospel is an attack on him.

The "full retard" joke is from Tropic Thunder, which is one of my favorite movies (mmmm, Ben Stiller and Robert Downey, Jr.), but that joke wasn't even that funny in the movie. It's even less funny when said by someone not RDJ in horribly ironic blackface.

What I don't understand is Kraven was simply making a a_b post about a difficult artist. Where did all of the drama suddenly occure from? Something about an argument over a partial/full refund. Shouldn't we all just take from the experience the fact that the commissioned artist can be a difficult person to work with sometimes and that it is fully resolved?

If I may make a suggestion, I think it would do more to end the negativity on A_B's side, at least, if comments were disallowed for reposted entries where the reason was the OP misbehaving like this. leaving the comments open, big-text warning or not, almost invites users to jump in with their two cents and keep ragging on the guy after he's already permabanned, which is insult to injury, and any users with a genuine addition to the entry in question (like Celarania) can get in touch with the moderators directly to have pertinent information/screenshots added afterthefact.

The repost was specifically because he was deleting comments in his own post. We wanted people to be able to comment freely without them just being deleted.

I understand what you're saying, but on the opposite end I'm uncomfortable with the idea of making it so people can't comment about an issue at all, you know?

I am going to tell you all right now I am pretty embarrassed to find out he blew it out of proportion like this after I had stood up for him before this all happened in the earlier entry.. (before the mass deletion, etc) bluh.

I really don't know how I feel about this. I've known him for a long while but this upsets me because I just really never expected it.. oh well. :C

I doubt you're the only one. I'd honestly be pretty embarrassed, too, and mad that my friend would be so.. well. Yeah.

That said, don't sweat it, you can't control your friends and sometimes you can't predict them, either. He went overly hostile so QUICKLY that I don't think anyone could have seen it coming just because people wanted some extra information. Nobody did or said anything even remotely deserving of his reactions here. That's all on him, not on anybody else.

I felt like something was "off" when he talked about being a big bad hyena and something about whiteknighting. I just felt like he had the jargon that is more reserved for drama communities and gossip.

So I guess I felt apprehensive that he didn't come to this community with just the right attitude but then this whole thing blew up and now it's obvious.

I don't know if he wanted to make a fight or have drama but I will definitely avoid him. Personally I doubt he'll ever commission me but I have done commissions in the past for people with attitudes like his and was not aware of it until it was late. I know one of my past customers in particular thrived off of this sort of thing, and liked getting upset at people and making others upset. They're not worth doing business with.

What a completely immature and uncalled for reaction to completely civil and reasonable questions. I was looking at that entry as it was happening and was groaning at his string of comments. How can you argue with the people you just insulted about how you feel so insulted? It was like he stuck his fingers deep in his ears as soon as he wasn't getting people agreeing with everything he had to say... and then when he felt he had "nothing left to lose" his demeanor just devolved and he turned into the "I insulted you I'm so edgy and I don't care HA" person.

His attitude is really just upsetting, I'm glad this re-post is here so everyone can see the extent of his behavior. I haven't seen someone gloat like that over deleting comments like it was a big achievement since a kid I knew early in high school. The nerve.
