Running very late on a few commissions...

This is my first post here so please forgive me if its not as informative or as well written as others.

WHO: Calanon

WHAT: I ordered 3 waist up commissions from Calanon and as of yet have received no progress.

WHEN: This started around mid-July, this note having been completed on July 18th http://i.imgur.com/EIUhQ.png (paypal blurred out for privacy reasons) and from that point we exchanged a few more notes, with the next few notes being more of the same, getting a reply here and there but not often, with my notes being weeks/months apart http://i.imgur.com/9Xy3o.png

EXPLAIN: As stated in the above comments, I have tried to be patient for months and months now, only sending a note every few weeks or months at times, sometimes I got a reply, sometimes I didnt. It's not that i'm impatient, i've waited longer than this for pictures from friends that involved no money. But having paid for 3 pictures well over 6 months ago and still nothing really bothers me. Not only that but they also posted pictures that other people bought when they originally put up a journal for these commissions http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2515899/

They posted a few pictures such as http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6145146/ and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6183808/ shortly after the journal was up then stopped for a while, 2 months later finishing a few more http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6505015/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6486663/

After finishing more commissions they have all but ceased activity on furaffinity, with some people leaving shouts asking about their own commissions as well as me, since then they have closed their deviantart account - http://raven-greiver.deviantart.com/ and facebook account - http://www.facebook.com/Raven%20Greiver and has not responded to current notes awaiting to be read. Although they have been active on their steam account http://steamcommunity.com/id/BlackLiightning which tells me they are still around but not paying attention to those of us on FA asking for a status update. All of the above accounts are linked from their FA account under contact information.

I don't know what to do at this point to either try to keep in contact and try to get my commissions or ask for a refund, its been over 90 days so I don't think I can request a paypal refund from the website.



EDIT: She got back in contact with me today and has a new FA account and says she will be doing all the commissions that she has taken the few months ago now. So anyone that ordered a commission from her, her new account is posted on her FA page and is awaiting details from anyone who commissioned her in the past few months.

I appreciate the feedback I got on behalf of this entry and thank you to everyone who helped out with this.

That's something we mods can't fix because it's caused by text being pasted into the rich text editor by the poster.

Clearing out the blank area.

I have read through the rules of not deleting ANYTHING but I can see that the blank area has been noticed a bit, would there be any leeway to delete JUST that blank space or would I need a moderator to do that. I'm afraid of doing that myself without asking.

kayla_la's a mod and I don't think anyone cares about deleting blanks (as long as it's not like, a whole comment that's accidentally blank, maybe)

That rule is only to prevent people from erasing their entries completely or editing huge chunks out. The person who asked you to remove the blank space actually IS a mod, and editing posts isn't something we can actually do.

Thanks for the very hasty reply, but it appears that I cannot edit out that blank area for some odd reason. If I have to make another one of these posts I will be careful as to not create a huge blank area again.

What you want to do then is take your text of this post, copy paste it into something like Notepad where all formatting will be removed, clean it up some and then reinsert it into the post.

That ought to clean it up.

They should be able to switch over to the HTML editor tab and remove all extra space/code. :)

I just posted a lost contact thing looking for her as well, totally didn't realize they had a FA account that had just been posted x.x

I'm in the same boat you're in. Bought their friends subs on dA in exchange for a couple feral commissions. However, I did come across their TLKFAA page, which contained an email address. Dunno if it still works er anything, but if you want it, it's worth a shot...
