Anybody heard from Awai on FA lately? She's cleaned out her journals and galleries; she owes me a completed sketchbook from an auction to help her save money for a dentist visit 6mths ago and i've only seen one completed picture.. the quality is half of her other pictures in her gallery that are done pretty much the same time :/ Interested to find out where she's gone and if I can get my money back/get the completed art or at least something of similar value.

I have sent her a new note and a shout on her page just wondering where she is, but i'm getting an obvious feeling that she won't respond.

She's sold her characters, in what looks like an attempt to leave the fandom? (latest journal of hers) Either way I can understand college - if she kept me updated. She promised me one picture a day and while I knew not to expect that I haven't received any art in 6mths now.

If anyone has information I would greatly appreciate it, i'm out of pocket for trying to help her in a prior auction - I wish I had grabbed screenshots of it now :/
If you need my notes sent to her/from her I am happy to screenshot them and what art I have recieved. Unfortunately I cannot get any auction/payment screenshots due to paypal shutting my other account and her clearing out her journals. I really wish I had proof of it now..

I can tell you this. She was NOT an artist, maybe a novice. I never understood why she was offering those commissions when she mostly just followed other artists around begging for free art. I knew her on a semi personal level for a while, and she is...idk...things never added up. Wither her personal life, and then when she all of a sudden started saying she was an artist. I have a feeling the pictures she "drew" may have been free pieces form other artists, but I am not sure. I never knew her to be an artist as Juskani the name I originally met her under.http://www.furaffinity.net/user/juskani/
I feel bad that she did that. I can see if I can try and find her, but if she's off the grid, then I guess it is what it is.

No matter what name she went under, she was hard and fast with the drama, and ALWAYS getting people to do free art for her by making them feel sorry, and then would change names claiming someone was after her. So from knowing her on a personal level. No she was not an artist, and I assume she was trying to get money to do..something. Maybe I can help? note me on FA and I can give ya a pic or something, because I honestly feel bad about what happened. I can also tell you more about her if you like that I dare not say here. Oh wow..

My friend had recommended her because she 'needed this money for the dentist'. I felt sorry and had the spare money in my account so I bet on one of her auctions.. Now I just feel stupid having done this and not being able to get any money back. $40 is still alot to me, considering I just moved overseas and all.

I'll note you on FA, i'd like to get a better understanding on this situation.

I absolutely understand. I mean if I were in a position to I would try and help get your money, back, and maybe I can, but I know for SURE I can at least give your money's worth. I would be more then happy to give you a fair trade for what you paid her in art form me. It can't be a full sketch book because that is a LOT of time, and I have little, but I KNOW she duped a LOT of people and I am just now seeing it in the wake. One such person actually linked me to this AB page about her. I have noted the people I know that also knew her to see if we can find out where she went.

I also had one person note me who had found this A_B post, apparently they did alot of free art for her and she sold the characters that this person gave Awai for free. So she was even profiteering off of others hard work :/ It really concerns me now..

It's actually been a long time ago (Somewhere between 10 months and a year?) that I last heard from Awai. She sent me a message telling me that she was leaving FA and making a new account, however never told me her new account name. She claimed she was leaving because other people were harassing her about her art and starting rumors of her tracing and lieing about her medical issues. I tried not to delve into her personal life too much once I began to feel like all she wanted from me was art. "Could you show me how to do this?" or "Could you give me base lines to work on?" Nu.. >_>

We did an art trade for a new sona that she had wanted to use (Which I was extremely disappointed with, considering the quality that she showed me that she was capable of wasn't even in the same region as what she presented to me. I at least tried on mine.. Come to find out, the art that she had shown me as 'hers' wasn't hers at all, but someone else's of her character... Which sort of pissed me off.. >_>)

My point is that she's still around FA somewhere. I'll keep an eye out for you.
