Okay so, my friend and I are having troubles with a commissioner.

Nightlinez and I opened up for a collab auction on June 23rd, where KitNabarii ended up winning when it ended on July 2nd. I sent her a note asking about payment, which was ignored, after Nightlinez's initial note was ignored.
Nightlinez then sent more notes trying to get the payment out of her. As you can see, she promised to pay it 'tomorrow' which was July 6th. So far, we have received no such payments.

However, KitNabarii continues to buy art from others. I left a public shout to her which has now been deleted. She shouted back on my page claiming her baby is sick so she can't pay. The badges she is referring to are from Nightlinez which she ordered on June 7th and never paid. I responded on her page which was again, deleted. She gave more excuses about a sick baby, so I shouted again asking why she even bid on our auctions if she was having financial troubles. She replied saying that she did not know he would get sick. Even though a few minutes ago she claimed he got sick a month ago when Nightlinez first opened for badges.

She also appears to owe more people money.

She has now sent a note to Nightlinez telling us to re-start our auctions because she "doesn't want to keep us waiting". She claims she hasn't been able to get online, even though her favorites and submissions speak otherwise.

So, as a warning she seems very flaky and might just back out of paying you completely.

give her a little more time. she is a good friend of mine and a customer of mine as well.

she is currently in the hospital at the moment having a surgery procedure done. She might have to stay there at the hospital, so she may not be around for a little bit.

but she has always some way paid me here or there. either be it through a money order or paypal.

i understand she can be a little slow with payments but she is going through a healthfactor that needs her funds atm.

she still hasnt paid one of my works yet but i will be patient with her, i want to know she made it out of her surgery safely.

I believe the auction she bid on was held by two people, and each of them posted a beware about her over the same thing.

Kit placed a bid on our Collab auction.

My beware also contained how she was placing bids and wining my other auctions plus holding up space. I ended up giving her personal information such as an address to send a snail mail payment.

She was saying two different things to both of us

I knew this was going to happen. One of my friends recently came to me saying she refunded Kit, and then Kit went around and bought new art with that exact amount of refunded money... so seeing this on A_B is just confirming how shady she is. :/

I wish there was a way you could get your money but honestly... her track record speaks for itself. I'm surprised FA is still letting her be around, they usually ban people for habitual behaviors like this.

I'll say that she was a wonderful commissioner the whole time I dealt with her, right up until she wanted to get a large amount of commissions from me, and then...no money order ever showed up. I enjoyed working with her, she paid promptly for the commissions she did pay for...but I suspected some time ago that there might have been something a bit odd, when suddenly her paypal no longer worked and she wanted to pay via money order for everything.

This person tried ordering $100.00 worth of commissions from me a week or so ago. Then backed out since I work with payment upfront orders only.

They didn't read my journal on how to order so that was a red flag right there(pretty much a chain yanker.
she has definitely been blocked and blacklisted from me.

Her sickness isn't that bad if she is ordering art/items. If someone has health bills to pay they wouldn't be buying luxuries.So that's not really an excuse to me.

It could be that they're simply terrible at budgeting, which could explain having to pay health-bills while still spending more and more money on art.

If anything, she should clean up her act and try to map out a proper spending-budget, which would probably allow for some commissioning, instead of "buying art" without paying for it and then making excuses.

I don't think I've ever had a problem with her personally...but, there was one time, where I was hosting a fun lil TinyChat and she comes in, starts ranting about how people "are out to get her", and then she randomly leaves without another word. It was.....strange, but still un-needed. I was kinda tempted to ban her from the chat. :/

But yeah, don't buy commissions unless you actually HAVE the money and PLAN to pay. :/

Actually this is something i notice it seems she is also doing art trades as well as comissions. Though if she is having surgery should'nt she be resting.

There are times I've been in and out of the hospital and drawing is something I do a lot cause I can do it sitting down. So while I agree with the beware being posted and the excuses etc its not like you can really say drawing is a strenuous activity unless you are busting out some Pollock style stuff.

Not sure about anyone else, But she has contracted me through live journal via a message.

And yes I do plan on paying for the badge from Nightlinez I canceled the one payment like they suggested I do. and I have already informed them that I will pay them as soon as I am able.

And yes I do plan on paying for the auctions I just won. I have also already talked to that artist...

and there really arent very many artists that have had trouble with me so it doesnt matter.

I only asked the artists to link the pics to my shouts because sometimes I have to look through just to find the art I have been waiting on which when having them linked makes it easier to find.... so Im sorry on that but just because they do that doesnt mean that I just bought them...

Start living by the rule "If I don't have the money to pay the artist NOW - regardless of their actual policy - then I won't take a slot/bid on an auction/order an item." You will save everyone, yourself included, a lot of headache. It's going to suck because there are a lot of awesome things out there to buy, but you HAVE to. HAVE. TO. This is a rule that EVERYONE lives by in order to function in life successfully and those who don't wind up here, or in court, or on the streets.

I don't know if she actually got banned though, as FA doesn't say -Banned on banned users anymore.
