WHO: bigdog2010

WHERE: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/bigdog2010

WHAT: I made bigdog2010 a "transformation" picture (taking his normal human picture and changing his eyes, nose and ears into that of a wolfs), took me 3  hours to make, he posted payment before I started to work on it, he continued to email me about the picture so since the payment was suppose to be on the way I posted the picture. He then turned around and CANCELLED the payment a couple days later!

WHEN: August 5

PROOF: http://i49.tinypic.com/k3517q.png http://i46.tinypic.com/2hebjac.png

EXPLAIN: Mr.Bigdog contacted me asking for me to do the commission, he asked me about how much I ask for each option, he continued to ask about if I could do the eyes, ears and nose and we both settled on the agreement of $20 for all of the options, he posted payment and I began work. As you can see I told him I was waiting til payment was posted before I began work, he posted payment and basically demanded me to begin working. I began working on it and he kept asking about the picture and how long it would take. It took me three hours to make the said picture. He kept asking about it and I posted it. He said he liked it and began to ask me about a future commission of him being a lion. He agreed to contact me about it once he got more money. That was the end of it. I went today to see if payment was cleared out and it was CANCELLED.

Definitely beware noted! This is a terrible circumstance =| It feels like the client was purposefully trying to get work out of you for free, and had full intent to charge you back.

Actually that behavior i am not surprised considering i've done a picture for him on my livestream before as a free request. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8263337/ Though i have noticed him to be a bit demanding considering the requests are based off an art challenge journal. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/844515/

Wow, classy.

I hope you can open a dispute about this.

As if the pushy and demanding behavior wasn't beware-worthy enough, the charge-back seals the deal for me.
I'll definitely be avoiding working for this person.

... no surprise here.

Andrew Rinaldi.

Go figure.

His been at this for years now.

Tried to get his current account banned some time ago because he was already ban-evading in the first place after an admin had already banned his other "four" accounts (they already knew at the time what he was doing). Tried to warn users not to do things for him without realizing what they were getting in to (especially his habit of "harassing" artists on a regular basis after you've said "no" a dozen or more times). His been permantly banned from deviantART for harassment and ban-evasion but he simply refuses to get the clue his not welcome in the transformation community after just how many transformation artists his gone after and harassed, including myself.

Simply put, he will "demand" you to do a picture for him and even if you say no, or if you've already become a victim of his previous demands, he'll continue to harass you afterwards and placing him on ignore (social chat services, email addresses, etc), he'll simply create a new account to bypass your blocks.

But now that his actually commited to doing fraud, that's the newest low his ever sunk to (you can't just simply "cancel" a PayPal payment "by mistake").

While he hasn't messeged me in quite some time, he knows full well I know of his actions and will not tolerate it. He can't hide forever under new alias, I already know his tactics and "broken English" is an absolute excuse and insult to thinking I'm stupid.

I was just going to say that everything about this post just oozed of Andrew Rinaldi to me.

He's really someone that every artist should just stay away from.

Actually i just realized something i type that name up on google and this came up on the first page searches.
http://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Wereandrewtiger

Though i do wish i knew about this earlier considering i had a similair issues back in february but it was a different person.

Actually there's a beware before about this person as well.
http://artists-beware.livejournal.com/214614.html

So it's safe to say they're both the same person.

Your icon is exactly how I looked when that factoid dropped. I don't even do TF and he's gone after me before!

I'm really, really sorry to hear that you've been burned by this guy.

I don't even draw TF art, just regular furry stuff, and this guy hounded me for a good couple years before just giving up. I'd almost thought he'd given up on this stuff after not hearing of him for awhile, then in December he re-appeared, requesting free art from a friend along with sending unrequested pictures of himself[one of which was nude].

Mods, I really, really recommend that "wereandrewtiger" be added to the tags; this guy is someone that no artist should ever deal with. Not only will he incessantly message people and harass them, but it's obvious that he's now stooped to scamming in order to get his art fix.

Huge, huge beware for any dealings with this guy.

I did not know about Bigdog2010 having this history as another name but now that i read though this beware. I am now concerned how do i say no to a person with this kind of history without causing problesm on my livestream.

A friend of mine was being bugged by this guy as 'wereandrewtiger' and found that by just repeating back everything the guy said as a question or alternate statement made him bugger off.

Basically he turned around the guy's dialog by deliberately misinterpreting everything wereandrewtiger said. It frustrated him enough to just go away.

Done and done. I've heard of this fellow, and had dealings with him myself. I'm not at all surprised he's still at it.

We dont need two different tags for the same person, if I wasnt on my phone I'd fix it myself but what you do is go here http://www.livejournal.com/manage/tags.bml select work as artists beware and change one of the tags to comm-name1/name2, make sure this tag is now on all the posts about this person, then delete the extra one.

Did he used to send really poorly spelled requests that artists transform him into various animals, if so I've dealt with him before. Way, WAY back on VCL. Any attempt to tell him I didn't take requests just prompted more requests. I can't tell if he doesn't speak the language or he has mental issues (and I don't mean this in a derogatory way, he really just doesn't seem to understand what he's being told), but cancelling a payment on a commission he prompted the artist to finish reeks of premeditated intent.

Anyway, OP, I'd contact Paypal if I were you. Odds that they'll actually do something useful are slim, but maybe if he does it to other people and gets enough complaints a small miracle will happen and Paypal will actually lock out a real scammer.

Actually they should just tag his real name, since he seems to be name-hopping to try and avoid his own well earned reputation. And now he's gone from clueless to malicious :/
The old dog learned a new trick.

I havent read the comments yet, i've skimmed through the post though, and would like to let you know some things when dealing with this person.

I've gotten two commissions out of him, both times he managed to pay. I am not sure why he canceled the commission. He always waited until after payment went through before repeatedly contacting me.
If he asked you to start making picture before the payment, you should have said "you'll have to wait until payment goes through". I know, this comment will have alot of 'should have done this'.

i sort of learned how to communicate with him, since english is not his first language. i learned that you have to give him short, easy to translate/understand sentences like "ok" or "it will be done soon" or stuff like that.

he's not an overall bad guy, as he had been in the past. He will ask multiple times when it will be done or how it looks, or sometimes just nonsensical stuff i don't really understand. The most important part though when dealing with him is to never ignore a message from him. always respond, or he'll probably end up thinking that you're ignoring him and stuff like this will happen. ):

I've only had good experiences with him, but from the things i've read from people in the past, he was not a good customer. I have a sense to believe that hes changed, but it still takes a bit to be able to be on his level of communication.

It's either talking to him so he can understand, or not going through all the extra work to work with him. I've been having him as a repeat customer though :p

I don't understand. He's not a bad guy, but he intentionally canceled payment for work he received? How is this a communication issue?

Oh gosh, this guy? Geez. He's contacted me before through my AIM, and it was my private account. I have no idea how he got it. I can't believe he's still doing this.

This is the Wolfy guy? He contacted me on deviant art back in...2009. It was the most bizzare thing. Geeze. Beware noted.
