First of all, i guess i should say hi to everybody =D The idea of a artist gathering place to discuss people that they've had good/bad transactions with is a great idea!

I've been doing art most of my life, and only just recently have i turned it towards furrydom (though i've been a fan of it for a few years, having no money and being somewhat shy have stopped me from putting my art out anywhere, or buying any art i've wanted >_< ). So... i've recently started putting pictures of my stuff online, and my friends and other people say "you should do commissions"

Well i've been thinking about it, but i've got a couple problems lol. For one, i'm a total idiot when it comes to credit cards/online transactions (i don't have a credit card or proof of age online lol). Secondly, my art isn't on drawn media, its clay sculpting figurines. Most of my figures come out 4-8" tall (minus wings/tails/etc) with a few rare ones up to a foot tall. I'm not a super good artist but appearantly i'm getting better quickly. I can also do limited (short) claymations (though i can't figure out how to add sound to them lol)

the major problem with this is, how do i show them a sample of what i'll be sending them without sending them an actual picture(though i'd be sending the finished fired item)... you can't exactly "sketch" colored sculpy ^_^* (and NO i can't paint lol) Because i'm seeing a problem with some commisions is that they get a sample, and that's enough for them, or something.

Any suggestions or hints or anything are greatly appreciated! Sorry for sounding so newbish.

Oh and i'm over on deviant art.. i'm *really* wanting to test the limits of my abilities before i go off doing real random commisions for money... so if you're bored, please go over there
