Before I get into the whole song and dance. Anyone have any information as to HMO/Rotekatze's situation? Specifically if anyone has commissions with her too and has made an attempt to get into contact with her and has succeeded.

The ahem is not needed, thank you. I looked back and saw one post about her but it was a few month so Im looking for fresh info. Hence the shrt post instead of a whole sob story about my situation.

I'm afraid I can't help much, the most recent sighting of her I have was on Y!Gallery under the name "othelloh" but i just checked the page and it seems she's disappeared from there....if you want to try though....

Good luck. I've been trying to get in touch with her for months. It's going on two years and four months ago that I sent her $53 for a commission and so far I've seen a very rough sketch. Last I heard back in November/December, she was "almost done" with the picture, never got back to me, never replied to my emails, and I've all but written her off.

Oh well at least she did my conbadge... sucks that it might end up being a 75 dollar conbadge.

Frankly if you've prepaid, you're probably out of your money. If you haven't paid and simply had an agreement with her, I'd suggest moving on.

I waited 3 years, fussed and bitched, got one, and pretty much wrote her off, the second was a surprise, I didn't think she'd follow through. Luck of the draw I suppose?

Honestly, You're out, what, $50 or so? give or take? You've wasted cash on dumber things.

I am in the same boat you are. Consider your money lost, and consider this a lesson learned. This artist has a very long history of conning people and never coming through on commissions.

Pretty much what I've heard is that pretty much no-one can get ahold of her. She seems to have skipped out on a quite a few people so you're not the only one in this boat.
