Due to all the pressure, letter, and journal ( or so I assume ) She has e-mailed us ( my mate and I ) an offer of Tail and Arms, plus a refund of $400 out of the original $600. We are accepting this offer and hoping this will all be smoothed over before AnthroCon. Thank you to everyone who commented, supported, or offered me free fursuit parts.

Spark - Thank you so much for the offer of a tail! I hope that she will send it before AnthroCon so I won't need the tail you were going to make for me. But again, thank you so much for the offer and you are in my thoughts. =)

Growly - And Thank you for also offering me a tail and then ears. If you would like to still make me those ears you can but since the situation has begun to calm, I won't expect you to make anything for me for free. But again, Thank you Thank you Thank you. You are also in my thoughts. =)

Skanrashke - Thank you for also offering me a tail and then a conbadge or anything I wanted. ^^ Its not common I see such generousity in todays world. I don't expect you to make me anything, but if you still wanted to make me a conbadge I wouldn't protest. Maybe a trade even. ^^ *hugs* =)

To those who are / were in the same boat as myself, I hope this is the start of refunds and better treatment for you all. =) You are all in my thoughts. *hugs for all!*

I personally think I should have got all $600.00 back since she did NO WORK. No Proof. No work.

i thought she had already made the arms and tail. She said she was making everyone's arms a week ago or so and I remember her making all the tails like 2 weeks ago.

Lol, I know this is old, but I just wanted to let you know, I never recieved pictures of ANYTHING done, and I never received anything from her except a small refund. I don't know what arms and tails you are talking about, but I never got anything.

But now, I have commissioned different artists and actually have a partial. =) I'm still miffed at her, and I just received an e-mail from a customer of hers who is currently getting the same treatment I got. Really sounds FAIR to me. *sarcasm*

glad to hear you'll be getting SOMETHING. I know i will slack off on commisshes too, but i always send photos when possible. Best of luck and hope you get your things before the con! Bladespark is a great tailmaker, if you are getting worried about yopur handpaws and tail getting in, i think she is great at pulling off quality work in (what seems to me) no time flat!
then again i take forever on these kinds o'things, so lol, yeah...

hope things are smooth from now on! You can bet i will never commision her unless she considerably cleans up her act!

I certaintly wouldn't want to be in the artist's shoes right now however, with all that work backed up and angry people here and there. I bet she's wishing she could hit the 'reset' button right about now.

Sorry to comment on a post that's more than a year old, but reading about your dealings with Rose struck a chord. I'm glad you got your refund (or most of it).

Nearly two years since date of commission for a partial suit (nov 2006), also with $600 up front, I'm still waiting for, well, anything. It's shocking. She managed to produce a tail - a very expensive tail of course, at $600 so far. Worse, this commission was for my mate, to cheer him up while going through a bad patch at university, and because he's always dreamed of his own suit. Back in 2006, I presented him with a print-out of the agreement, in a mysterious golden envelope. He was so overjoyed at the prospect of his own Rose Quoll suit (even a partial), he was in tears.

Nearly two years on, things change, and we're very possibly not even going to remain a couple any more. Not (to be fair) over the fursuit fiasco, but it has given us added stress. If this thing ever does materialize, I'm going to feel more than a touch sick at paying off the $200 or whatever balance after this time. And I don't expect a refund either.

I'm disgusted with Rose, for someone with such an outstanding reputation for fine work, her business practices are abominable, I feel she's treated me like utter shit (despite giving her a generous up-front cash injection) and she's without doubt the most unprofessional person I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. There's been emails back and fourth the last 18 - 2o months, excuses, promises, broken promises, pity stories, I expect you know how it goes.

Sick to my stomach doesn't even come close. It's put me off dealing with any furry artist ever again. I hear rumours that the hard-up Rose is planning to attend FC2009 - I pray I won't bump into her.
