Myspace fursuit fraud!!!! Please read!!

Edit- We politely and peacefully contacted this person,and they did finally take the pictures down and send us an apology. The reason we are told she did it was something along the lines of an obsession that got too far. There were close to 150 images of my suit in her myspace photo album it turned out. Anyways, we are still working on the fake Saberfire and latinvixen ones, which we are told are unrelated to this person. Thanks guys for all yoru support.


It was pointed out to me today on myspace.com that someone is frauding my identity. They used my name -silver- and proceeded to grab about 150 pics of my personal husky fursuit DIRECTLY from my website gallery. They even incorrectly labelled the photos.

No im not 17, and I dont live in Greenback USA, and i dont have a myspace account.

Please do not think this page is me or that ny comments or posts from this person are assciated with me. To make matters worse, I noticed a friend of hers has frauded my husband -saber fire- and his fursuit as well. THIS IS NOT HIS MYSPACE!!!

This problem may be affecting you!

This may be larger spread than we thought. Everyone please watch out and double check your suit is not being frauded as well. This is very serious.

Ive emailed myspace with no reply yet. Lets get em!

This is a good reason why people should watermark their pictures and in such a manner that it can not be edited out. Hopefully they'll get this taken care of for you.

Ohjeez, MySpace. They could care less about copyright violation. :/ I've had so much art ripped on there, it's crazy. Good luck.

I've learned that MySpace is very good about deleting inappropriate content.

I know this because once upon a time a bint linked an image of mine off my server which I promptly replaced with the image of a vagina. Then I reported the inappropriate content and they deleted her MySpace account. :D
If she's direct linking I suggest a similar tactic.

If not, you should send a DMCA complaint to wherever she's hosting them, probably Photobucket or ImageShack.

Also, report her for identity theft, provide as many links of your valid on-line presence as possible to help them differentiate between you and the poser.

That's not a bad idea, though will prove difficult because of multiple photographers involved. Anyways, we did contact the person finally and they agreed to take down the fursuit pictures immeadiately and we got an apolagy. Hurray!

The Saber fire and latinvixen copies still exist though, weve had little sucess there.

Couldn't you just do the watermarking yourself though? I mean, it would keep uniformity on your website.

I'm actually friended by this person on MySpace...they did have a description on the picture that it was not their suit, that it was yours, and that they liked it very much...I don't really talk to them or anything...sorry you've had the problems.
