If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams, as long as it's relevant to artists!
There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.
To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:
1. Name of the person you recommend (please also put this in the subject of your comment):
2. Link to person's website or art page:
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person:
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!):
If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.

i got a sketch commission from them in early january and wow it was just super spot on.
they have a really gorgeous style and positively dirt cheap prices (since she's only on deviantart and that seems to be the MO there) as well as a pretty deep bench of things they're able to draw. weird monstery horror, anthros, humans, landscapes...they can prettymuch do all of them.

3) Around December 1st ish? It was completed before Christmas :)
4) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9483619/ / http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9481090 - Not only did I get nearly hourly updates of the image, Keirstal was super sweet and pleasant. Always prompt in communication, also to correct the one slight error with one of the pairs getting swapped with their mates. In addition to the super large image with a snow addition and a clear addition, we got close ups of each couple. It was a gift for Christmas for my mate (we're the center couple!) and my sister's and their beaus :)

3. Beginning of January, turn around was about a week
4. The slot was a 'wing-it' type spot, where Kee took three adjectives and some refs and ran with 'em. What she produced absolutely amazed me. From the word 'inventor', she designed a fabulous character that is now going to be an important companion to my existing Lady. I was in no way expecting a two character piece, so it was a lovely surprise.

Didn't have a specific quality requested but said they would return the quality which they received. Lovely product and great to work with. Would def do business with again weather it be a trade or commission. :3

The artist is super friendly. When I first got the image from her, a marking was missing, so I emailed her back and within ten minutes she sent me the corrected version. She was very nice and professional about everything. I’m very pleased and would definitely buy from her again.

Date: 2013-02-02 05:21 am (UTC)Link: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/theowlette , http://www.furaffinity.net/user/thenaughtyowlette (NSFW)
Time: Dec. 6 or so. There were some delays in getting the final product, but they were ENTIRELY MY FAULT. As in, Owlette sent me "here's a sketch, tell me if you want me to fix anything :D" letters and I was the one who took forever to respond.
Details: owlette's prices and examples speak for themselves, but suffice it to say that I am extremely pleased with how great the artwork is I'm getting for the value. Of course, that's all well and good, but in a community like this, the important thing is the service, right?
Owlette has to be one of my absolute favorite people I've ever commissioned, as far as niceness and service. (The only other people I've commissioned who even come close as far as what total sweethearts they are would be Gravewalker, Slug, and Celia Souris.) she is an extreme professional, and has no problem whatsoever making things right. Yes, most commissions have a "make a sketch, get feedback, modify the sketch" phase as part of standard operating procedure, but Owlette was noticeably and strikingly enthusiastic about it. Even when I was a little hesitant, myself (I have some self-confidence issues, and I always struggle to bring myself to point things out because I don't want to nitpick or anything) she actually comforted me and helped me express that. She wanted to hear what could be fixed, and she absolutely would not rest until I was satisfied.
"Satisfied" is an understatement, by the way, because the end results were (NSFW!) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9644784/ and (also NSFW!) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9667826/ , and if you think those are stunning (which they are!) you should se the high-res versions. Personal recommendation: get the fancy finished full detail painting option when you commission her, because my God.

4. We've swapped plush projects a few times, and every time I get something really adorable. :) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8355490/ is what I got last time. I wanted a kitty-taur plush, I've never seen one before, and she rose to the challenge of making one really wonderfully.

Date: 2013-02-02 08:13 pm (UTC)2. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/iko
3. Latest commission was finished Jan. 29th 2013.
4. Details : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9807752/
The picture was commissioned on January 2nd, 2013, as part of an emergency commissions deal that Iko held then to pay for bills and a doctors visit. I commissioned her as I'd had a lot of luck with her in-stream commission in the past, and because Iko has always impressed me with her professional attitude toward her clients. This commission was finished in good time, and Iko actually put a good deal more work into it than we had originally agreed upon. I only paid her for a partial background, and she ended up including a full background instead. She is also very good about streaming commissions, and with working to give her customers the picture they want.

3. near the end of January
4. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9802020/
Not only was Lotix super speedy (5 days from payment to completion), she produced great quality and had great communication. I noted her a few times with some questions and she was always prompt to reply and very polite and kind. She made sure I approved of the sketch (I wasn't expecting as they were special sketch commissions) and I had my finished image only a few days later. Probably the best image created of my character to date!
Commissioner: Sethkeidashi

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: On and off since Novemberish
4. Details: As a commissioner he always pays up front and he's pretty patient. He tips me regularly more than what I charge him. I also made a mistake once and drew the wrong char (I was pretty exhausted) and even though I insisted that one was on the house he paid for it too. He's very generous and polite, though most of the commissions he buys are not worksafe. He also is one of those commissioners who likes to give "free reign" and let the artist choose what to draw.

She's always friendly, diligent, and just plain awesome ^.=.^ Me and my friend just love our thingies!!!! She has a great style and is always on top of her work! And her prices are awesome too! Who knew that custom textiles could be so affordable? ^.=.^
I recently got my new tail from her and i found a little surprise Pinkie Pie button in the box! She gave it to me for being a loyal customer ^.=.^
Mermade is an all around awesome person and very professional too! I will be sure to recommend her in the future ^.=.^

4. I commissioned Hashire in May of 2012 for a piece, but due to some issues she was having she was unable to complete the commission and refunded me, letting me keep the sketch. I was so impressed with the way she handled that situation that in January when she announced she was doing scheduled stream commissions I jumped on two slots. The first slot I asked for something, leaving the rating up to the artist, that showed a doe and fox in front of a mirror getting ready for a night out. Based on what she worked on before my first image and how loose the first description was I thought I might be getting one that was rated mature. What I got instead was this image:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9715246/
It exceeded my expectations. The detail of the dress was absolutely amazing and I enjoyed watching her create the image.
Two weeks later I had another stream commission with her - this time I had sent her a few descriptions to pick from (2 that were general and two that were mature or adult) She took one of the mature ones. Again she came up with a beautiful picture. I couldn't be happier with these two images.

3: Jan 23, 2013
4: I commissioned Jailbird for a stream commission slot. Having watched her do a number of streams I knew how quickly she worked. I sent her four descriptions of pieces I'd like to see, and asked her to pick one, but not tell me. Again two were general and two were mature or adult. She picked a great picture of my doe Cara and my buck Kendric. The image was exactly what I was hoping for.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9831708/
Between her and Hashire I was spoiled during January. I have one more coming up from Jailbird in March, and can't wait to see what I get from her this time.
