I don't understand this attitude, I've seen a lot of advice posts telling people to mention posting the situation here in order to get a response. It's only these last two posts where I see people arguing against that.
Generally I agree that it's better not to say you won't post and then do it later but this is both a review site and a tool so I don't blame people for using it when they're out of their money/time.
The artist whose behavior warranted a bad review enough that the customer had to threaten exposure to get results is, to me, someone who needs to be posted more than pretty much everyone else. If a customer lying to get what they paid for/their money back is a personal concern for artists, then maybe they shouldn't put the customer in the position to need to do so.
