4. I commissioned Malkyru for one of their inked drawings of my alien, Cog. Malkyru has always been one of my favorite artists and I couldn't pass up a chance to commission them. They finished my art within a couple of days and perfectly captured my character!

4. I only recently discovered Luciana-Lu on FA and shortly after she opened up for some headshot sketches. I love her human art a lot and decided to commission two of them. She finished them quickly and was an absolute pleasure to talk to during the commission process.

4. CountRamsely is just starting out taking commissions and was offering $3 sketches. I bought one of the Deacon from Waterworld and he finished the initial sketch within a week and then later decided to ink and color it because he liked how it turned out. I also got another sketch of Imhotep from The Mummy.

Subdivisions takes on a large queue of coloured sketches, so I was expecting a much longer wait, but they work very quickly while maintaining quality work for what you pay! They are friendly and make sure you are happy with the WIP before finishing. I will be commissioning them again in the future!

i've been doing business with luraklos consistantly all through 2013. he's the sort who regularly commissions and continues to do so if he likes your work.
he's patient with works, and will communicate if things do/do not please him with sketches without coming off as pushy or nitpicky. when he likes something, he makes sure you know! he's very considerate of the rights and efforts of the artists he's paying. he often tips, and ocassionally pays above your asking price.
he's also very open to suggestions with his comic work. if you want to change a panel layout, tweak dialogue or add an additional panel for clarity he'll be cool with that discussion.
i feel like he doesn't get enough credit because sometimes his communications can be a little "engrishy" - but he's a SPECTACULAR commissioner, i can not sign his praises highly enough. even with his periodicly awkward grammatical structure, his descriptions and reference material is always very concise and clear, with all the necessary details present. i've never felt his command of english has got in the way of the clarity of his descriptions.
folks have actually snubbed him in the past for his english, and they're making a huge mistake. dude's awesome. could not ask for a better customer.

3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person: Not sure of the exact commission date, but it was sometime around August 4th. My commission was finished less than a month later on August 27th.
4. Details: A friend of mine commissioned Blekarotva for a pic of both of our characters. I decided to commission a response pic! I pitched the idea to Blek, who put me on their Iron Artist list. I was actually the last person of about 10 or so and they finished them all in less than a month. They're speedy and the quality is great. Their prices are fair and I had a great time commissioning them. :)

Cynn. posted a journal asking for art trades. I was very lucky to receive a spot and she completed her icon very quickly. It turned out amazingly! She is very easy to work with and even went a step further by shading the icon (which I did not expect but enjoyed the detail!). I would suggest an art trade with her anytime!

She really went above and beyond for me, and she captured my idea incredibly well.

This is the 5th or 6th piece I have gotten from Kannos and every time she is highly professional with fast responses, polite questions and overall very good service. I would recommend her to anyone looking to get a commission. This piece she streamed much of the work live so input was instantaneous and she made every edit I asked for right away. She also would only accept payment once I had confirmed that everything looked good and I was happy with the piece.

4. Plaguedog is currently doing a Iron Artist Challenge (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11327699/) for her painted portraits, so I nabbed a slot. I was the last one (4th) for the month of August. She also streamed these commissions as well, mine was done in two sessions. The first session I got there just in time for her to start mine and have input. The second stream I was not able to make until late, but she waited for me to be present before finishing the commission, that way I didn’t miss a moment of it’s creation. She didn’t have to wait for me, but I was happy she did. I also got my art moments after the stream so I could look it over. 4. I've been watching this girl for about two years now and throughout this time I've noticed she has always been excellent at finishing her commissions in an appropriate time frame and really tries her best to keep her customers satisfied. While her art style is still developing I do think this girls' passion for it is really something special, and her business seems to be going very well for her which I am proud to see. I paid 10$ for this adorable flat coloured chibi in one of her streams and I love it!

4. In July of this year, I started work on a professional website for Emily*, and the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. She had a clear idea of what she wanted, yet was willing to let me experiment with various ideas; she always gave constructive criticism and honest feedback, never afraid to tell me what she didn't like; and when suggesting new features, there was always a sensitivity to the possible difficulty of implementing them (e.g. "Would it be too much work if ..."). Payment was prompt as well.
If you should happen to be approached by her about a commission, you should definitely accept it!
(* I know this community is primarily for visual artwork, fursuits, and the like, but I hope you will indulge me in gushing about this particularly delightful client.)

4. I asked for a two-character color commission in an adult situation. I didn't have proper model sheets for either of the two characters but did have sheets with examples of both. I told her enough to give her a general idea what to do. She was very friendly and easy to work with, and said she had a lot of fun doing the picture - she took my description as a starting point and took it further, which only made it better. Her prices were very reasonable too, as many artists who produce that quality work charge twice as much or more. I will probably commission her again if she's there next year.

She accepted snailmail because I did not yet have a paypal account. She streamed the commission for me because I think that watching the art being done every step of the way is fun in and of itself. She worked with me as an artist to get the piece the way I wanted it. She was just such a peach to work with! I gave her an RL pic of myself and she based the image off of that.
And all for just 10$ and some cool purple stones I sent with a thank you card. It was during an Iron Artist period.
