WHEN: I posted my end of the trade May 21st 2013. The agreement was made earlier that month.

EXPLAIN:
In May 2013 I made a journal looking for art trades. Teahound was doing a commission special at the time at a value of $25 (two characters), the same price as a badge by myself, so we agreed to trade. Unfortunately the journal no longer exists due to the time that has passed, and we did not communicate by FA notes. The only other time I heard from him is as seen on the comment on my end of the trade. I had no reason to suspect anything so I waited patiently.

Two months later I left a shout on his page to the likes of "Hey how are you doing, got any updates for me?" to no response. I figured he was busy, and left him alone a while longer. I sent him another shout but can't remember exactly when, and then again two months ago (as seen on his userpage) and again recently (seen at the top of his userpage). Every time I have been blatantly ignored. It has now been over six months since our agreement, and he has been posting, taking commissions, and responding to shouts to others. It is unclear why he is avoiding me in particular.
I mostly feel upset that I am not even acknowledged. Even a simple "I can't do this, I'm having a hard time right now" would suffice for me.

Yeah, I was supposed to get a trade of a character creation (Dresden Files based Wizard-dog) from him, but I never heard a thing about it, so I just never completed my end of it.

I didn't either, and to be fair, it was a long time ago. I'm just easily forgotten, and I don't pursue people over things, so I just let it go.

Yeah, this is why I've been avoiding trades lately - I'm gonna see what I can get done on yours; if you'd like something other than a character created please let me know, ok?

Edit: To my recollection Kayla and I got that settled, too, I'll poke her when I get off work to double-check.

Don't worry about it. I don't know where the original drawings are anymore, and it's just been too long. I work ridiculous hours now and don't have the time to start something over again.

And yeah, the icon was eventually settled.

I fully admit I've been having trouble completing trades, and as such have been avoiding taking them lately. I'm sorry for taking so long on yours (and for not responding to your shout; I let my anxiety get the better of me there), and I'll have it finished up this week.

If you're having trouble just say so. Most people will understand. Life happens and anxiety happens. But outright ignoring people really isn't cool :/

I bought a figure from him in an e-garage sale he was doing, and never actually got the thing. I poked him several times asking about it, then asked for a refund- after several months, I didn't even want the figure anymore. It finally took me threatening to post him here to get my money back.

He's a really nice guy, I've nothing against him personally. I've had good commission experiences with him, but yeah, he's not the best at keeping up on things he owes.

I as well have been trying to contact the artist over the matter of a refund that I believe has not yet been settled...the matter is up to a question (not sure if it's been resolved or not) but given that my attempts to contact via email, FA, Weasyl and Skype have all been ignored I can say the artist is being purposely evasive. It's been two years or possibly more by now.

EDIT: Artist has contacted me, updates pending.

Sent email a while ago, also noted on Weasyl, will give some more time but not sure what else to do :/

Edit 3/6: was told I'd be partially refunded by now, noted on Weasyl and sent countless emails but still heard nothing. Legal advice? This has gotten ridiculous.

Update, received partial payment, awaiting the rest. Artist was difficult to get a hold of, but acted admirably once communication was reached. No further complaints.
