EXPLAIN: I happened across this image while browsing, looking through her gallery, and the image itself, it's clearly traced. I commented as you can see above asking the artist to cite her source, and the image was replaced with the above overlay as 'proof' she didn't trace. This artist attempted to trace a photograph for monetary gain, and should be avoided.

They made the entire situation so much worse - Clarity's behavior wasn't fantastic and their situation wasn't great, but had their friends not decided to throw mud every-which-way, this probably could have been handled and done with by now. Instead, they entire situation blew up and might have cost Clarity a fair bit in their reputation.

To be clear, this is not about this beware post. This is about lies and false accusations made by the lead moderator of this page. Since they refuse to furnish proof of "threats," I will provide evidence of their lies.

this beware isn't even about the trace(??)/failure to cite sources anymore, it's a very valid warning about this user's behavior and the behavior of her associates. avoiding each and every one. this has been blown way out of proportion and into something else entirely.

For the record, I spoke to Clarity herself via Furaffinity PMs last night and she was actually fairly reasonable. I am not sure if she has informed her friends that that conversation happened, however. But she handled it much better than her friends have, at this point, who are carrying on a fight Clarity herself appears to have dropped (as far as I know, at least).

You made claims that I was "threatening" and "hostile" with my first two messages, and you still have yet to prove your original libelous claim. Yes, I was condescending and rude, and that was a direct result of your false accusations.

So, thank you for proving me right, and that this group's dishonest leadership undermines the integrity of the group as a whole. Instead of taking a passive "send me screenshots and I'll ban them" approach to off-site harassment, you should be proactively monitoring the pages of those who are posted about to make sure they are not being harassed, since the issue of off-site harassment is well-known. As the lead moderator, that falls under your responsibility. The fact that you also allow members to make additional accusations unrelated to the Beware (such as faking harassment to attempt to gain sympathy) says a lot about what kind of a person you are.

Since you have failed to live up to your responsibilities and continue to allow the group to be a conduit for harassment, I demand you step down or delete the group.

Oh my goodness...this all kinda got out of hand, it seems. I do agree that if they feel their life is in danger due to threats from users on this site, they should, by all means, contact the police and show them screenshots from the offenders. However, as a sibling of a police officer, it should probably be noted that they would have no legal grounds to take action against the site as a whole; those of us who have not broken the ToS of the site by harassing users shouldn't be held accountable for those who did.

I feel like this could have all been resolved easily, had the artist simply kept her cool. She already admitted to heavy referencing; she was only denying the out-right tracing. All that was asked for was for her to actually mention in future drawings if she did so, and credit the source of her references. I just hope it's a lesson learned and this will all sort itself out...yikes.

I know this is like...super late...but I feel like this post itself helped me see him for who he really truly is.

He wanted to be "friends" with me recently and brought up he is willing to come where I live (repeatedly) because he is interested in me.

He is very persistent and now I have seen his true colours through this post....he has been blocked.

Yes, I do believe that is tracing, the gown lines up perfectly. Don't understand why people feel the need to think that this is okay when it's not. Beware well warranted.
