If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! Time Period: October 1st, 2014.
Details: Last night, I saw a flat sale YCH they were selling on the front page. I asked for and paid for a slot.
My art was done within an hour [!!!] and bee2baby2 was extremely courteous throughout the entire transaction. They sent me several notes while working on my art, each one asking to clarify some details about it.

Details: I was looking for somebody to design/draw a custom MLP pony character for myself. I happened upon Calavera-Garbancera's adoptables and loved the work they did. I sent a note asking if they would be open to creating me a custom MLP pony. We worked out the details and pricing and she had it done in under a day!

Details: HeroWuff made a journal post on FA advertising their FaceBook art page. I poked around the FB page for a bit and was instantly enamored with the page's profile image (https://scontent-a-sea.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/10487260_1443154235954180_5262650733025089055_n.png?oh=79c69a88861af1cdf08001cc49f0806f&oe=54B6DA81). I asked about whether she would do a bust in a similar pose for me and how much it would cost. With details agreed upon, I paid for the simple bust image of my character and she had it done in under a day!

4. Details: UDF recently joined FA and their art caught my eye. They opened up for commissions and I didn't have enough cash at the time so I initiated a trade and ended up paying a day later after getting some extra money. They finished my picture the next day and it turned out perfectly. Usually I have to provide an artist with species refs or help them since not many people practice drawing deer and my character has more feral anatomy than human. UDF drew my sona spot on! They're new to FA but are friendly and offer inexpensive commissions.

Details: They wanted to do a trade, I ordered them a plushie in exchange for a picture of one o my characters, they had a WIP sketch the day the deer got to there house and then shared the inks and then the final product all within a week. They were nice, fast and really complimented my character with their excitement to draw him.

4. Details: Red was doing these pretty awesome Halloween portraits. They were taking some direction but ultimately wanted a bit of freedom to go with their own ideas.

Details: I have loved Muzz's art for the longest time now. On October 11th and 15th, Muzz announced that she was taking £10 headshot commissions via stream, which I participated. She worked with incredible speed and quality, capturing what I envisioned for my character spot-on. The stream was pleasant both times and I'm extremely happy with the outcome of both commissions. Always a pleasure to work with!
