[identity profile] emily edwards posting in [community profile] artists_beware
Hello! So a little less than a week ago, I went to a convention. I am giving out prizes, including drawings, to the winners, so I collected the emails of those who won. However, I can not find these papers anywhere. I've been freaking out. I've tried contacting others; but I have no luck so far. Do you guys have any advice for me?

Needless to say, keep looking. Look even in places you don't think they would be. Double check other papers. Etc etc.

Other than that, make announcements on all your galleries that you're looking for people who took part in your raffle. Other than continuing to look for the papers, I don't imagine there's much else you can do, really.

If you have a public page, like an FA or art Facebook where you think your winners would be viewing consider making a journal or post that's just an honest "Hey this never happens to me, but I seem to have lost the emails of the winners of such and such, could I possibly get you guys to re-email me?"

Hopefully you would recognize the emails, and not deal with something shitty like liars, but that is the best advice I can think of.

Did you have anything identifiable on your table that you could verify the entrants by? Maybe on your FA or other gallery page you could say "Please let me know your email if you entered my raffle at the con - and answer this question: which MLP character did I have as a stuffed animal sitting on my table?" Something like that might narrow down the fibbers.

Seconding what people have said about posting on all your online galleries, asking for contact info. Also, if they somehow miss the announcement, I'm positive they will contact you after enough time has passed asking, "hey where's my stuff?" Eventually they will find you.
