WHAT: a $20 chibi, plus a $5 dollar tip.
WHEN: i paid for the chibi on june 8th. on august 8th, i sent a PM asking if i could have a status update on my commission (the note was read and ignored). on september 3rd, i sent another PM, which was also read and ignored. on september 12th i sent a final PM, giving them until the 15th to respond, before opening a paypal dispute on the 16th. as of posting this entry, they have yet to respond to the dispute.

EXPLAIN: on june 8th i paid for a single character chibi from captainhanni. they said that they may be able to complete it quickly, which was neat but not necessary. i gave them an ample amount of time to work on said commission before giving them a nudge (on september 3rd), only to have my note ignored. i looked at their FA page and discovered that they'd posted a journal on august 10th saying that their tablet was broken and that commissions would be delayed. something that i also noticed during that time was that... i never made it to their list of current commissioners, despite paying in advance. i also follow them on tumblr (http://captainhanni.tumblr.com/), and noticed that they've been drawing/posting quite a bit, but not personally addressing commissioners to let them know that their commissions would be delayed, or in my case, ignored completely.
it's really an unfortunate situation, but at this point i'd just like a response and a refund. i didn't want to have to drag this out into the open, but i can't shake the feeling that even my paypal claim is going to be ignored.
9/23/2015: this has been resolved and i've been refunded in full.
