No, this isn't a joke!
If you've had a great commission experience, either as an artist or a customer, please comment here and spread the word. It doesn't have to be a full-on story, though you're welcome to type one! All we need are a few lines on why this person was so great to work with. You can also recommend companies, such as printers or fursuit-making teams, as long as it's relevant!
There are plenty of reasons to post someone here: perhaps they went above and beyond the call of duty to fix a problem, or were so prompt with communication and payment it was like having them right next to you, or were very professional and courteous every time you contacted them.
To help keep things organized, please follow this simple form:
1. Name of the person you recommend:
2. Link to person's website or art page:
3. Approximate time period of when you did business with this person:
4. Details (Here's where you tell us why they are so awesome! What made the transaction go so well? Perhaps link to the art or suit you bought/sold if you feel like sharing. Please mark NSFW if the subject matter is adult!!):
If you have multiple people to recommend, please put them in separate comments to keep things organized.
Trades are just as welcome as paid transactions. But try not to post for friends (or yourself) who are looking to be commissioned. If customers are what they/you seek,
teenycom,
artsales or
artcommissions is for them!

3. Contacted Feb 6 - Received product March 25
4. I'll preface this by saying that I know she has a beware on this site. I commissioned her for one of her plushie backpacks. Communication was wonderful with her and she was even polite when I ended up choosing a different, more complicated character after I had paid the deposit (I felt bad doing that as a commissioner). I had to wait a little bit while she worked through the queue before me but once she started my commission, it was done in less than a week! Upon receiving the product, it did have a slight smoke smell but because I had read the beware and was expecting it, I was not upset by this. The quality of the backpack itself blows my mind! The seams are all very uniform, very strong and no holes whatsoever. I commissioned a very asymmetric character and she nailed every marking placement and even the spot shapes. The straps are heavy duty and the pocket itself is roomy; I can definitely get some use out of it at cons. She was very nice to me during the commission process and I felt like she really cared about me as a customer. If you don't mind a little smoke smell which will fade in time, her packs are absolutely worth the money. I was 100% blown away by this commission!

3. I participated in their yearly easter egg hunt. so a week ago and got my commission 2 days ago.
4. Starvin have top notch customer service each time I commission them, this means that even if I do not really have the cash I will save up to join their yearly egg hunt around easter time. The hunt goes like this; Find an egg you like hidden around her profile, and recent submission pages, claim it in the appropriate journal while tossing a theme and an animal at her, pay the small fee and wait for the glory. She is incredibly speed efficient, but does not let the quality drop due to that, and I always adore what comes out of her mind. For my egg adopt/colour palette I chose an Asian Elephant with a Henna theme; (Mature warning) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/19551240/

4. Details: This commission was a part of her Steel Artist commission series and as such her turnaround for this piece was fantastic. What's more, she captured both my characters and my idea perfectly and the detail in the piece is beautifully done. She was very professional in all her communication and she did an excellent job of answering all communications in a timely manner and in making sure every detail was correct. I cannot recommend her enough.

3. April 6th first contacted, YCH received today.
4. About a week ago, FelisRandomis posted a cute two character YCH with multiple buy option. I asked a friend if he wanted to be in the piece with one of my domestic cat characters so I could grab a slot from the artist. This was my first time receiving a commission from this artist, and I'm happy with how smoothly the transaction went!

4. Yesterday opened for an experimental candy/sparkle gore commission so I took the slot. It took them maybe a day to produce a sketch and another day for colors o.o It was my first time commissioning them and I'm super impressed, they were also really professional and nice, made sure to keep me informed of the whole process.

4. I've been looking for a snake design for ages, and was never able to get anyone to take me up on it via design trades, so since I was already watching them, I asked if they were up for it. Long answer short- yes! Turnover was extremely quick, and it came out just how I'd hoped.
ETA: Keedot is very professional and pleasant to work with.

3. April 2016
4. Seiska posted a lovely flower crown icon, and as I love flower crowns I asked if she would make one for me. She said yes, so I provided links (including an expression ref) and paid. The wait was not long- I was told right away that it could take up to 2 weeks, and she updated me when she had some things crop up. She finished it fairly quickly and it is lovely. Very professional and friendly!
