EXPLAIN: On 12/11/2015, I paid for a 2 character color commission from Greycat Rademenes. I patiently waited for the picture to be completed, so I send him a DA note on 3/16/2016 asking about the status of my commission. He responded in a timely manner, but then a while later, he never responded when I asked him about my commission. I tried his Yahoo! E-mail, G-mail, FA notes, DA notes and some DA shouts, but he never responded to them. I don't want to believe he's ignoring me, but he hasn't given me anything to suggest otherwise.

I've had no problems with him in the past, but this is something I've never encountered with him before. I really hope that he did not get too bogged down with his other non-art commitments (work, school, other people's commissions). Again, he hasn't given me anything to suggest otherwise.

I only want my picture to be completed. I'm only posting this because of the total lack of communication on his part. All I need is a simple, one sentence response about my commission from him. I only ask reasonable requests like that to be done.

UPDATE 1 (11/21/2016): After a few DeviantArt notes, I finally got a response from Greycat. He did not forget about my picture, but it would've been nice if I could see it firsthand to confirm the claim that he did work on my picture I commissioned nearly a year ago. Partly, but not yet fully resolved.

UPDATE 2 (11/22/2016): After 2 Tolstoy-length DA notes, Greycat is currently working on my commission mentioned above. My commission is NSFW, so it cannot be shown here. A bit more resolved than last time, but still not yet fully resolved.

UPDATE 3 (11/27/2016): After another note, he has finished my picture and sent a copy of it to my email. Again, NSFW commission, so it cannot be shown here. I can consider this issue fully resolved, but I wish Greycat would keep in touch more often so a fiasco like this won't happen again.

I'm sorry but that part about not having a chance to reply to you is complete bullshit. You can clearly see him replying to comments on his DA page, so no he had was more than able to reply to you. The fact that he lied about that makes me question whether he's telling the truth about your picture being done or him "making it up to you".

He is working on my pic, as he showed me a WIP of it. Due to its NSFW nature, I am not able to share it here.

I wish it didn't take this long, but I can always Tolstoy another note to him should something stupid happen.

The comments on their profile replying to others about taking other commissions while others are actively seeking a response in regards to ones they already paid for is disgusting.
