And commissioners as well...

I hope this is allowed....
I am trying to compile a list of things people have said to artists and commissioners that have a negative view/stance on various subjects surrounding art. Mediums, pricing, marketing, art itself, methods, etc.  Anything and everything, even if it seems minor. What arguments have you seen out there?
Please number/point if you have more than one to share.

Examples of what I'm looking for:
-Digital is worth more than traditional.
-Art isn't a real job. (Everyone knows this one)
-Digital art is cheating.
-Patreon is a scam/paywall.

Variations on the same thing and details are welcome because sometimes it can add another dynamic to the opinion that must also be tackled.

What the.... there is so much wrong with that whole thing.

- Doesnt seem aware that this is a commission because he refers to the characters as yours.
- Seems to think that the character is a living thing that you forced to be religious, against this fictional character's wishes.
- Thinks that a religious symbol somehow makes the picture religious rather than what it is.
- Its your art, do what you want, but dont do what you want.
- You could have gotten more faves without it.

But the worst is that he had to say anything at all.. like.. so you dont like it cause of the cross, then move on.

YES, precisely! The sheet entitlement on this one that I owed him and my followers strictly secular artwork is beyond me. What if I am Christian? (I'm agnostic) Then why on earth would I hide my faith from my work to spare my poor precious baby followers who can't stand seeing a *gasp* cross! Just... Wow. All this time later it is still my top fave horrible note I've gotten on DA. XD

late, but spiteful "I haven't had my coffee yet" would have done a huge image with like nuns and some pretty light effects from stained glass, just to piss em off.
