Anyone know how to contact Gideon or Bluey?

There are a couple of commissions i've been waiting for for quite a while; one from Gideon I've been waiting for for a little over a year for and one from Bluey that i've been waiting for for about 3.5years.
Even more frustratingly I can't seem to get in touch with either of them! I've tried sending them both messages in almost every way I can think of but i've heard nothing back from either of them for ages!
Anyone know of a way to get in touch with either of them? At this point i'd be happy if they just gave my money back if they don't intend to do the artwork. :-/

I posted something about the troubles with Bluey, some months back, and she got in touch to say she would send the money back to me but that was ab out 3 months ago and since then no emails I have sent to her have been responded to.

Gideon rarely answers emails online. The only time I see him get commissions done are at the conventions themselves.

Gideon has an FA page, but I doubt he'll answer, as he is extremely busy. Like Risperidal said above, best way to catch him is at cons. He goes to a lot of them, and always posts an FA journal before he goes to one.

Out of curiosity, busy with what? Shouldn't he be busy working on paid-for work? Granted, I'm on a hiatus from working on commissions myself right now, due to work piling on from school in the next two weeks, but at least I am keeping in contact with my commissioners. :/

He should be. I would just bother them until they either do it or refund the money to get you out of their hair. I know another friend who is dealing with another artist who is 2 years overdue, yet still does daily requests.

Work.
Whilst school is a pain in the ass, work takes up even more of your time and energy. An unforeseen project might have popped up, a deadline, he might be working his ass off because colleagues are sick, were fired, got knocked up and whatnot. I know Gideon and he's not the type to sit around and do nothing, but I admit he's a hard man to get hold of.

He's a freelancer as far as I know, but that doesn't mean he's actually "free".

I'm a freelancer too, and need a main job, but some more popular artists make enough off of art disc, portfolio, print, and commissions sales to make it, I just guessed he was one of them xP

I had a bad experience with Gideon several years back. I ordered a few CDs, but after sending payment never received anything. No replies to emails, and only had a reply much later when I posted a question publicly on his LJ. Two rounds of "oh I've been busy, but I promise I'll mail it out this week" later I gave up and chalked it up as a loss.

So how goes the gideon commission.. Just curious because I've commissioned him last year this month and it's the same way with me. I've sent replies and e-mails but I only get an e-mail about once every 3-4 months with pretty much the same reply wesfox described. To be honest, I really wouldn't mind that wait at all if he just kept me informed. And the fact that I see other people replying on FA for similar reasons doesn't make me feel any better.
