I'm not trying to slander or anything, I honestly want to see if this is just from the aftermath of the holidays or normal.

I ordered a hat from them at the very beginning of December, before their order date that was suggested for completion by christmas. On the 18th I got the notice through paypal that the tracking number was assigned. It hasn't changed since. According to their website the current time for my order should have been 2-3 weeks. I sent an email at the beginning of January with my order number etc. to their support line to see if it was sent and possibly lost in the mail. No response. I also gave an email through the form on their website, again no response.

They recently changed their page to explain they don't have time to read the emails but they will get to it.

I have no problem whatsoever waiting and I honestly don't think I've been screwed but is it normal for them to not contact about their order? It's been a long time since the first email I put out and while I totally understand being busy it's now twice the maximum wait time that they had said was likely and the package still hasn't been sent according to the tracking number. I know USPS doesn't always scan the package so I was concerned that maybe that happened here and the package got lost.

The quality looks lovely and I'm quite sure it will be more than worth the wait but I don't like it being quite this late with absolutely no contact. Is this normal for them?

I haven't dealt with them as a customer. I have met them personally, and they're really nice people, but obviously that doesn't necessarily mean they have great business practices.

Wish I could be more helpful, but I can say I doubt you'll be ripped off outright.

I've bought one of their bell collars before and I got it SUPAH fast. So I don't know what's up. But good luck!

I've only known Pawstar as convention folk (they cover Anime Weekend Atlanta, and this past year they did Dragon*Con too). I spoke with them about commissions but I've never ordered.

Was this a custom item or just one of their ordinary hats? That may make a difference...

I just recieved my custom hat frm them this week, i oringnally made the order in october. They do AWESOME work, but it may take a little bit. It took them a little while to get back to my emails as well, but they did eventually get back to me.

I promise it's just the holidays; they are honest people. I have had friends get their stuff late as well. I have commissions from MFF and AC still outstanding and they said a "few weeks."

The best things come with time...

My only experiance with them was at MFF this last november. I orderd a custom hat from them, was the standerd fox hat pattern but in green, and they had it for me the next day of the con. they are a rather popular supplyer of things furry and anime, they may have been pounded, but i have no idea. from my con experience they are relly good people, but very ver busy.

I ordered a hat from them in November. I got worried after 5 weeks so sent them a message via the email address from the Paypal's receipt and from their website. They promptly replied to their Paypal account address and gave me a tracking number for my item, so I suggest trying that. My hat just arrived last week, so I had to wait a lot longer than expected, but they compensated me with a cute free fox hat, some stickers, and a couple buttons, which greatly improved my opinion of them! So think positively. Waiting longer may mean they give you tons of free stuff. XD Oh, the hat I ordered is such good quality! It was definitely not a rush job. :> Here's the format of the email I sent them:

Hi,
My paypal receipt is dated __/__/08 (# weeks) for a "(name of the hat)". I was wondering if you could provide a tracking number for the item.

Thank You,

I had to wait a whole year to receive a hat I custom ordered from them. *shrugs* :0 They just take a long time to get their stuff out, it seems.
