This has been resolved. Majime accepted her mistakes from the past and from what I can see has learned from them.

She even gave me a full blown picture for all the troubles:

I don't see how people can just ignore customers like that. It's not very hard to just reply back and say what is up. Very disappointed to hear that she's doing that to her customers.

I'm waiting for a picture from an artist I really like myself atm but I too assume she's just got a lot going on right now. Deleting your comments and all that is very bad behavior IMHO. If it went down like that the artist owes you.

I had problems with her when I commissioned a sketch, down to she had said she lost a bunch of artwork in a hotel/motel when a maid came and threw it all away or took it or something when she left.. which just seems odd.

I'm really sorry for acting the way I did. I was such a dumbass back then and I truly deserve to be yelled at.

I have changed and I WILL get these done and sent out, even if it takes a little while longer.

If you don't want to commission me ever, I understand completely.

Aww that's a shame.

I have been retardedly swamped recently (and had a long bout of artist-dry-up) and even though I still have pending commissions (paid, but not completed) on my plate, if my commissioners email me (I'm hard to get ahold of on AIM since I'm so damn busy) I ALWAYS get back to them. ALWAYS.

Nothing is more important than positive PR, even if you have to eat a little bit of guff to get it. I don't mean that someone should constantly do shit for free, but you should try your hardest to always remain professional unless extreme circumstances call for other behavior.

That's a bummer to hear about this, perhaps this post will put a fire under their ass.

But to open your notes and not respond at all or deleting your comments requesting an update is UNACCEPTABLE.

I tried to commission her, but she ignored me, too. I didn't get to see your post so I'm just gathering from the comments that you didn't get a response about something. It still frustrates me sometimes to think about, I got all the way up to how to pay her when she just stopped replying to my comments and didn't respond to my note asking what was up. I had SO BADLY wanted to get some badges from her, too, and we had pretty much agreed to have them done when she just... started completely ignoring me.

Glad to see you got your situation resolved. I gave up. But you got a really nice piece in the end!

My post was pretty much a case of ignoring a customer too. I had paid and yeah... She just avoided me in every way possible until I posted here.

Anyways, maybe try contacting her once more? I know how it feels to be ignored by a great artist and REALLY want your art. Sucks. :(
