i have a question for anyone who knows these people: Blinque and GoldenSif (both on FA under that name)

my mate youkai had commissioned Blinque back in march at FWA for a 15 or 25 dollar full badge like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2120562 and neither of us have heard ANYTHING from her since about a month and a half after the con...

and then at RCFM 09 we both commissioned GoldenSif for 25 dollar badges like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2306668/ and yet again neither of us have heard anything from her since the con...

and both of these are starting to grate on my nerves bc that is about 75dollars that could go to something more useful.... so if ANYONE know's either of these artists or how to get a hold of them PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!! otherwise i will get our money back, be it by legal standards or them being nice and just giving it to us...

I sent both of them a note going on 3 days ago and still not a word/answer...

Sorry to say I don't know how to contact either of them. But I will say that after cons, I tend to have a TON of work to do, and I work on each item in the order which the commissions were taken. I don't contact my commissioners until their item is finished.

Good luck finding contact information, and I hope they don't wind up taking your money, but in the meantime, try to calm down just a tad. Getting that pissed off about it won't help you contact them any faster--it'll just make you stressed. :)

Blinque has always been so good about her art but I've been waiting for a badge for a while as well(beginning of February, paid in advance because I feel better knowing the art I get is paid for when I get it).

No idea where she's gone off to but by the looks of her FA she hasn't been on in months.
I wrote it off, it was $10, I'm glad it wasn't more... I'm hoping she didn't decide just to rip people off and that she just can't gain access to the internet.

AfaIk, Blinque's been having a lot going on, I'm just not sure what. I have seen her on AIM for all of 30 seconds in the past few months. I don't think she has reliable internet access right now, and if she's using a public computer, like in a library, FA may be blocked.

So, even her friends haven't heard from her. I doubt she's trying to skip out on anyone, though it would be helpful if she had her email in her contact info...

i commissioned GoldenSif at FCN 09, i forget if that was in April or May. i commissioned her on the last day of the con which i kind of regret because i still haven't gotten the badge. however she did have a couple journals and responded to some PM's about personal things going on and making life a bit rough. and then a friend of mine saw that a badge with my name on it was at her table at AC. i guess she thought i'd be there and just didn't think to ask me ahead of time. i did however get her to take a picture of it and post it so i could see that it was in fact made http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2522852 but still have yet to get it in the mail. so while i'm a little annoyed that it's taking so long, i know the work was done and it's just a matter of money being tight or something that's keeping it from being mailed out to me.

well i havent heard a thing from her! so thats our main problem... it would have been nice to get some kind of "hey theyre being done..." but not a word from her since the con... a friend of mine said that she had my bf's sketched/inked... but i wont believe it till i see it! >

oh i totally understand where you're coming from as it took a while for a few of us who got a badge at FCN to hear/see any progress. i'm just giving a little slack in case the potential worst case scenario stuff from her last couple journals happened is all. though i have a personal pet peeve when someone who says they're hard on money yet goes to all the cons when the money could be used to take care of things like food/rent/postage =/

well golden sif is going to get me my art eventually... got a hold of her, but not one word from blinque and i am still really mad about both of these
