I need some help locating some lost contact.

these are her email in case they help me find her

So I commission someone on an avatar  site call gaiaonline.com (only using this to explain what it an avatar site and is of no importance )
Anyway I got ban from there. Before I got ban, I commission someone though email on there. I am very bad with name so I forgot her username. She didn't give me her DA (deviantart ) account  either so I can;t contact her on there. (I don;t think it really important but I will post it anyway)

So I went back to paypal and got her email. I paid her half of the commission price upfront, so there real cash involve. I send her an email once a 3/2/11 and another one on 3/22. She didn;t answer to either of those. She have 2 email for her paypal so I send it to both.  Also when I commission her on gaia she always answer within a few day or week. (no more then 1 week if I remember but i have bad memory)

I know I should ask for her email but I didn't.

Now I am not sure what I should do next? Should I keep emailing her?What do I do if she never answer back to my email? I know some people use different email for paypal and for personal email.

First of all, you're not really supposed to do real money commissions on Gaia, for various reasons.

Second, file a paypal dispute with the complaint that she hasn't given you your product/hasn't stayed in contact with you. This should send her an email saying you're filing the dispute and allow her to respond.

Third, if you are ever going to do real money commissions on a website that doesn't allow it again, please take time to note down the contact details of the person you're commissioning more thoroughly.

I looked up the emails you provided on Gaia and came up with the following:

This account hasn't been used in years and it doesn't seem like there is any evidence of it having been involved in commissions whatsoever. The last post it has that is related to art at all is from 2007.

that the wrong person, she not a noob and she have normal gaia item. LIke semi rich on gaia. I know I am wrong to do commission and lesson learn. Which is why I am looking for her.

it over 45 day so I don't think a dispute would work

You are allowed to have something in your sig/thread that says you do IRL commissions and to contact you somewhere offsite. You just can't hammer out details or have a shop thread that is IRL money only. :)

Do you maybe have a friend or acquaintance on Gaia who can contact the artist for you?

The only other thing you can do I guess is initiate a Paypal dispute and get your money back. It's unfortunate the artist will lose the money, but if they aren't checking their email accounts, I dunno what else can be done.

Sorry but...I'm trying to understand why you never got her contact info in the first place? If you commission someone you really should ask for that sort of thing to make sure you can keep in touch.

If you can't remember who she is, then it's going to be hard to get your art. (Also you really aren't supposed to do money transactions through gaia)

But try a paypal dispute, however if it's been over 45 days you may have some trouble and have to call it as a loss and lesson learned.

it been way over 45 day so I am calling it a lost and lesson learn. It was only $20 buck so i am not some crazy commission who going put a fight over this. IT not even the cash, I just felt bad that I would give her a word and stop the commission. I would be pretty piss if a commissioner just never say anything to me, stop answering pm, and I never heard a word from them again.

I try normal email and it it never work. I send them an email and it take days to week just for a reply for anything.

Also she a great commission artist and did nothing wrong. I feel I should defend her cuz it was manly my fault for getting ban and never asking for her contact info.
