So, I sold a tail up on Furbuy, payment went through without a hitch, ok fine n dandy.

However I've been trying to confirm their shipping address for the past few days and they haven't emailed since (I had stated I would be out of town a couple days and I would ship it when I got back, but I haven't heard from them since before I went out of town).

They have a shipping address within their paypal, but there's a part I wasn't sure of (if it's just a different kind of apartment number that doesn't use numbers or if the address is even right in the first place, I can't tell). The zipcode I was given to calculate shipping matched with the address, but that's all I got.

In the event they just don't get back to me, I'll go ahead and refund them before relisting, but how long should I wait? I don't want to be sitting on it for too long, but I don't want to refund too soon to where they contact me say...the next day or same day that happens. (Because that's just my wacky way of luck.)

Thanks in advance.

If you think there's an error in the address, you can probably run it through Google maps and see if a residence comes up. Chances are if it's the address linked with their Paypal account, they've used it to receive packages before. It's the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the information they provide is accurate at any rate.

I've had requests regarding auction request from furries, apparently there are trolls poisoning the bids "for the lulz"

I see from the auction the person has a history of zero, you may have been trolled.

Trolls don't send payment in full for an item, though...

You'd be surprised how far people will go to scam, troll, etc on auction sites.

If there's a successful transaction for the buyer it isn't much of a troll.

With paypal, I'm very careful. I've had scammers send faked paypal emails stating receipt of payment when in fact there was no payment.

Be careful when accepting payment from people without a history.

Not everyone with no history is a scammer.

Thank you. :P Everyone has to start somewhere.

As a long time eBay seller, I've had to deal with zero feedback bidders who sometimes don't have a clue what they should do.

Don't be so paranoid. Not everyone is out to get furries.

Agreed! Everyone has to start somewhere when they're a new customer.

Is it a US Address? You can go to USPS.com and use the Zip Code Finder to see if the address is valid. That might help?

I would give them 10 business days to respond. Some people go on vacations or out of town for a week or so sometimes, so it's important to give ample time for them to respond if they were away.
