and yet another "update" on this on going drama:
http://www.livejournal.com/community/artists_beware/50390.html

Not really an update, cause i STILL haven't gotten my item. last i heard October 22nd she was aiming for Thanksgiving. well, another lie.

so i tried filing a claim with paypal.

what i said in the claim:

"After completing the payments for this item in the beginning of July I was told it would be about 2 weeks until my item was complete, pictures would be emailed and then the item shipped. About a month later I hadn't recieved it and was again promised it would be shipped "soon". This went on for months until at last I was told the truth that it had NOT been completed and was still in process (October 22*). The last I heard from the seller's friend she was aiming to ship the item by Thanksgiving. I have not heard from the actual seller since October 22 however.

I understand things sometimes get in the way of business but by misleading me about my product time and again I have lost all trust in this seller and believe I will never actually recieve this item I paid $400 for (payments were made in increments over June 9th - July 11th). A few months ago she had also said she would not be handling emails regarding her business anymore but allowing her friend and husband to do so. I do not see this as being very professional and it leads me to be even more suspicious of her true intentions.

I have all the emails we have exchanged saved and I am willing to forward them, place them in a document, or mail hard copies out if it would help to see the process this ordeal has taken and as proof to support my claim.

*(actually i had heard from vermy about that before oct 22... need to proof myself better)

what popped up IMMEDIATLY after hitting the send button:

...

at least she's "noted" though. whatever that means. basically i read paypal's policy of 45 days as "screw you, we could really care less". but, whatever.

Jesus I remember commenting on this way back in August when you first started posting. That is really fucked up, but I think you might have to just accept you got robbed and are not getting your plushie. It is enough money for you to take her to small claims court, though that is a lot of trouble. I am sorry about your loss. I will certainly tell everyone I know whe even mentions Blaque Tigeress not to commison her after robbing you for that much money.

Damn. And $400 is an extravagant amount of money for a plushie.... even I don't charge that much. I'm guessing that's US too. SO MUCH :O

< .. > This is a real shame, there's a cool item lot of toys I want up on eBay by a person with an identical username so I'd fain beleive it was the same person.

As much as I'd love those toys, I'm not sure I want to have faith in getting my item if I bid on it... I guess I should just be safe and not.
