I had hoped that this next weekend I would post a "resolved" post but when I got home from my aunt's funeral tonight I found this message in my inbox:

She refers to a bad-dealings thread on taxidermy.net where the only new message I had posted in reply since posting here and getting to see this dispute nearly resolved was a link to her artists-beware post, pointing out how she had reacted to it. That was going to be my last post concerning her, plus the resolution post when I did get my plush. It seems the post was removed, and I have a few PMs on those forums urging me to post my warning again as my own warning, and not Bob's (I had only been replying to his post about his bad dealings with her to share my own).

Then I found this beauty:

the top thread is from her fanpage on facebook and the very bottom of that image is from taxidermy.net. At the top she mentions giving me a day or so, and in her facebook PM the only thing she asks for is me removing my posts.

I am unsure what to do at this point. Thoughts?


ETA: Rereading that thread, I do want to clarify the "stay at home artist with no kids" comment that gets mentioned about the other forum as it seems to be lost on some critics: I meant that she was just a stay at home artist, and could not use kids as a valid reason for not working as that would be an understandable reason to me.

She makes some untrue statements in the comments as well as the main post, though that should be obvious to everyone by now. If there is a comment or statement she made that you want my side to just let me know. She does mention that I apologized to her here in the comments for some reason but I did not do that, at all, as can be seen.

ETA4: she deleted that post on furhideandbone. It got to around 40 comments (that I have saved via email if they're needed for whatever reason), mostly of people telling her to cool off. She deleted it and reposted this:

ETA5: I'm in the coffee shop now with nyaro and have picked up the plushie. Plushie-wise, this issue is resolved now. I'm in love all over again, it's like when I first got Babette who is my favorite ever.

Might be an LJ glitch- the top of the post for me says "track this" instead of having a little thumb tack symbol. But all the other symbols are present... so it may BE tagged, just not displaying this page right?

There's not really any need. It's not like we can do more than ban her (which has already happened), and I can dig them up from my email if need be. I wish she would listen to all the people telling her to just walk away.

I wish she would to. Also wish her enablers would as well as I suspect they are just keeping the fire lit. I've had both: friends who told me to cool my ***s, and enablers who kept me chomping at the bit... looking back now: the friends are still around, and the enablers are long gone.

You know, I'm kinda tired of you lumping us all together. Some of us are more bothered by it, yes, but most of us are just sympathizing or trying to help her feel better by letting her vent. Very few of us are trying to start a flame-war, and we don't bear any responsibility for her or your actions. So you're basically dragging all of us into your fight because you're mad that we happen to agree with her that this whole thing sucks. That doesn't seem fair to me.

And I'm sorry if any of my posts here are considered White-knighting. Mostly I just want to clear my own name. I can't really speak for Darien or the others, but I can speak for myself, and speak from long experience of interacting with my own group of friends. They are good people. They get angry just like anyone else, and sometimes they do stupid things as a result of that anger. But they are not the kind of people who ambush someone when she tries to pick up items that rightfully belong to her, or the type of people to encourage a flame-war for the heck of it. And once they calm down, they almost always regret any wrong they might have done, just like any decent person would.

And for the most part, Darien has been involving us in this issue very little. I had no idea this thing had erupted again until tonight, so I haven't had any sort of chance to stop anyone from doing something stupid. Again, not that their actions are anything near being my responsibility, considering I am not their keeper.

Please, keep your assumptions of our characters to yourself unless you have proof that we're intentionally trying to wrong you. The whole "innocent until proven guilty" idea right? :)

Few questions- how am I lumping you all together? If you want me to start using individual names, I will not. Generalizing "her local fans" is not dragging you all into this as they were concerns, not statements.

And again, where am I assuming things about your character? Direct quotes/links to the quotes so I can try and understand this. As another already said, they don't see where I've demonized you exactly... so, please, where?

I understand your concerns, but they really aren't necessary. Mainly because my group of friends is a big blob of disorganization. But also because none of us are anywhere close to being bloodthirsty enough that you would need to be concerned if we happen to be irritated. Most likely we will all baw about it in private gatherings for awhile and then move on. That's usually how it goes for us.

As for me, it bothered me that you thought it necessary to bring a friend or friends with you in order to meet me to get your stuff. And considering you know full well who would be meeting you (that is, me) and you were the one who arranged for me to get your stuff for you, I was really surprised that you would feel you needed backup just to deal with me, even if it was just in case.

I'm not really sure how I can make it clearer. If you're still wondering, feel free to talk about it with me when we meet to get you your Simba, etc. But the initial surprise and irritation at your comment has pretty much worn off, so it may just be a moot point in any case.

I am not concerned (you want to make a post, go ahead- I just doubt you have enough info to qualify for a post), just a bit flabbergasted... but as I said, I suspect these "issues" are petty complaints along the lines of "she drove too fast/too slow on the way to the con" or "why didn't she let me play with her toys while she sat at her artist con table" type of stuff. I honestly can't think of anything else aside from things like this, since we've had such minor interactions, that would bother someone. If you could, let me know when we meet. I will have a friend, we are going to shop anyway.

And you've never seen threats that you think are nothing, and then seen them executed. (or have you?) I can understand why that bothered you- but maybe try seeing things from my side as well and understand why I do not take such things lightly. It's an almost daily occurrence that I have to gauge the seriousness of a threat (not always to me, but to people I care for and work with which includes children I hold good-future hopes for).

No. I haven't. Not in that way at least. Unless you count a friend's suicide in high school, which perhaps I could've seen coming were I better prepared. Though I tend to prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt and wish for people to do the same for me.

I have no problem with you bringing someone if that's what you wish to do.
