Who:  Shivra

Where: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/shivra/

What: I commissioned her for a doll back in late September/early October. It was paid for and the doll was completed. Since then, I've had varying levels of success in trying to reach her to inquire about when/if it had been shipped leading to no contact at all since October.

Proof:
The original journal I commissioned her in: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2773865/
Oct 1st Paypal reciept (with name blocked out):  http://s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff266/kyuubiryu/Shivra/?action=view&current=Paypalreciept.jpg

October 18th Sent a note asking about shipping:http://s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff266/kyuubiryu/Shivra/?action=view&current=October18thnote.png

Ocotber 29th Emailed her since she no longer used notes at this point: http://s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff266/kyuubiryu/Shivra/?action=view&current=October29th.png

November 14th Second email inquiring about shipping: http://s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff266/kyuubiryu/Shivra/?action=view&current=Nov14thshippingcheck.png

Explain:
When I commissioned her, I had not been given an estimate on when to expect the doll to be shipped, though the "fast turnaround" advertised on making it led me to think it'd be sent sooner rather than later. At first, I could expect a reply within a few days, but that seemed to change once she informed that she was shipping the doll. The first time I was told so back on October 18th, I allowed more than enough time for a package to arrive at my location before contacting her again. I was actually given a reply around Nov 2nd saying that the doll was "on it's way", but I can't locate it. It was the last time I've gotten any sort of reply from her and as of now I have clue if the doll was lost in the mail or just never sent at all. She has a journal talking about how she had moved and didn't really have internet access at the time, so I had figured perhaps she was still trying to figure that out. But she's been active on her FA and plenty active on her Twitter this entire time. At this point, I'm starting to not care whether I get either the doll or money back as much as that I'm seemingly being ignored.

Edit: The doll has been shipped and arrived at my place today!

Yes she did move, but she is settled enough to get a new puppy, so in my opinion, shipping shouldn't be an issue any more!

I do hope this gets resolved quickly, I consider her a close friend and wouldn't expect this to get out of hand.

Your note and first email links go to the paypal cap, if you could fix those that would be great!

Having similar issues with her honestly. Ive ordered two fursuit heads from her that were suppose to be done before AC this year, I had something that came up and could not attend. I told her it was okay that she didn't have to rush but I needed them in Oct. It's now December and I have yet to see any progress on them what so ever.

*sighs* Beginning to wonder if its a lost cause myself at this point.

I did have progress, they're about half done (both) I'll email you. There's no excuse for my delay other than lack of motivation and paranoia about my work. I'm really sorry.

Yeah, I guess I replied to the wrong comment. I have the doll, in a package right now, I need your address and I'll ship it in 20minutes with a receipt. I'm really sorry for my shitty delay and you have every right to be angry at me.

I bought a pair of paws and got them quickly, but not two sketches. Haven't poked her about them yet. Her Twitter is sshivra though, you may have luck there?

No worries; like I said I hadn't gotten around to asking you about 'em yet. :3 I'd asked if you wanted to throw them in with the paws but you said you were gonna ship 'em separate, I believe. :3 It was 3 total.

I'm sorry that you're having this bad experience, and I don't have anything to say that could help anything with this situation, but I thought I'd throw out a little tidbit! Next time you commission something that needs to be shipped, I highly recommend having the artist/sender add a delivery confirmation onto the parcel, provided they're shipping through the postal service. It's only $.70 extra and you can track your order through the USPS website!

:] I hope this helps you in the future. It /is/ frustrating having to hear "oh it's in the mail!" "on its way!" over and over when for less than a dollar you could actually know :I

OT, but just curious if this is possible with large envelopes? I read somewhere that it wasn't, which is a bummer as I tend to send artwork first class in a large envelope. Haven't sent any commissions this way yet but I've done it that way with several gifts/trades.

I've been waiting on a tail from Shivra too but I've also had another package from another artist also shipped from Canada not show up (it was sent about 2 months ago) so if she's already sent it, it's possible that it got caught up in the mail somewhere.

I'm hoping neither of them are lost...
