Oh, I totally agree.

Those that just post up a collection of other artists's work - without permission - I usually try and be MUCH more polite about it. I can certainly understand people's feelings that they didn't mean any harm, and just wanted to 'showcase' an artist's work on their behalf. So... in those cases, I explain that they really do need the artist's permission first. IF they say "yes", then there's no problem, if they say "no", then they're not doing the artist ANY favours by going against their wishes.

But... folk that edit pictures to remove signatures, and THEN claim the art as they're own. Well, they're just being malicious and dishonest, and the gloves come off and claws come out :)

Looks like Yaochi's found the site for you.

Remember, only the copyright holder, or an assigned agent, can raise a copyright violation complaint. So, you'll need to mail Monty about it.

Of course, there's nothing stopping you kicking up a stink on the plagiarist's bulletin board, or something :)

Yep. Yep. :)

To my shame, I'm interested in knowing where this plagiarist's site is, now, so I can point and laugh :)

Eh... perhaps not. People accuse me of creating too much drama already :)

He also goes by the name of "Po-ju" for his more human-like artworks.

Huh... well, I suppose their art is crap too if they're having to borrow someone else's.

He uses Monty for furry artwork and ぽ~じゅ for just about everything else.

His current website is here: http://www.big.or.jp/~po-ju/Untitle.shtml

His "journal" is here:
http://web2h.exblog.jp/

His journal is where he announces what conventions he will be attending and what new material he has for sale.
