I need advice regarding a troublesome user.

Hi all. I recently took on an art trade in exchange for a ref sheet of my character.

They got someone else to draw my character (since they can't draw themeselves, but wanted art from me), and I will be drawing theirs. I started on my half of the trade today via a LiveStream so the tradee knows good and well I'm doing my half. Their half of the trade was completed quickly so no worries there.

Well, also today, I found out that this person has a really bad history of being incredibly rude and demanding and selfish to other artists. Some people on Nabyn noted me and told me this and that I should stay well away from this person. This person has also gotten banned on FurAffinity and had created ban-evasion accounts which have been banned too. On their deviantART account, they also cuss out and complain at people who thank them for watches/faves. I don't believe this person is a troll, just incredibly rude.

I also found out that this person is going around telling people they'll put me on here just because they think I was "avoiding them" for the last two days (when in reality I have been busy and not much in a IMing mood). They have also been going around saying I was a "con artist" and that I'm not planning on drawing them anything. The person claims I am his friend (I have only know this person for a few days!) so maybe if I block this person, they'll try to use the "I thought you were my friend" excuse. They are also a liar, claiming I said things when I did not.

Unfortunately, I didn't know this at the time I accepted his offer, otherwise I would have told them no. 

What should I do? Should I finish the trade, and just remove him and block them? Or should I post them here? My friend also told me that he had a really awful experience with that guy as well and he wouldn't mind coming here and telling his half of the story. I have screenshots of the evidence proving that this person is disrespectful to artists and some chat logs.

EDIT: This guy is starting to make block evade accounts and note me and is making call out journals on these accounts. He is also IMing my friend and attacking her as well.

The other artist has already finished their half of the trade, so if OP didn't finish his/hers/zers they would be in the wrong.

It just confuses me because it wasn't really much of a real trade, the person who 'traded' didn't lose money nor time over it because they didn't draw or pay for anything, so legally I don't see why Alex should really have to do anything for that person.

I could understand doing something for the artist who did this free commission, but the person in question did not have to use money or effort, just got someone to draw something for free so I just don't think it really counts the same way *shrug*

OP and the person agreed to deliver products to each other; it doesn't matter from whom the products to be delivered came from, because OP accepted the conditions as they were; backing off now, after they already got their part of the deal, OP would be the one breaking the business transaction for not much more than hearsay and petty drama, and that, for me, would be much more of a beware about the artist than the customer. It doesn't matter if the customer is annoying or has a bad attitude: if you have what you're paid for, and all the disrespect you had was the notion that the customer was generally being a bit of a twat - without presenting evidence of them being a twat to you - you are jumping the gun and breaking the contract.

If the customer went for heavy disrespect and OP had screenshots to prove it, then they would have grounds to break the deal, but as it is, I've seen evidence of general bad behaviour, but nothing catered to OP.

Well he's making alt accounts on FA and going around copying and pasting my old A_B link and making block-evade accounts for each one I block. I have a feeling its him since he does bring up the guy's name I traded with.

He also somehow found my skype/aim and added me on both and starting trying to get me involved.

You don't have to convince me. All I said was that, back then, OP had little ground to break the deal. If the situation has changed, then great, OP can make a new beware or break off the contact based on the drama/disrespect they're going through; just, back then, they held no ground for that.
