WHEN: Roughly Two months ago, I saw Marbles was selling a few characters, one of them 'Tori', a coatimundi, caught my eye and I inquired about a price, which is where the transaction started (on the submission advertising the character.)

I waited for a while, then a few things happened (unrelated life things) and I ended up forgetting all about the character purchase until very recently, last tuesday; (July 2nd) 

I decided to give her a friendly poke/reminder on facebook to check in. 

A day passed, nothing, she had been active on facebook, 'liking' things and made a comment to someone. Feeling worried that I was being blown off, I sent a second poke that night, this time voicing my concerns, this is where the situation escalates;

As seen in the screenshot, I was met with attitude and swears and aggression. Despite being taken back, and a bit insulted, I tried to approach the situation as civil as possible. I decided there, by her attitude and failure to deliver initially, that I wanted a full refund, as I had not even used the character anyways.  She accused me of shorting her on an (unrelated) refund issued recently. I tried to explain a bit of why the payments ere either cents or a few dollars short (paypal fee.) She refunded me in full (17 usd) then on the note of "Fine I sent it back now leave me alone."

Although I was refunded in full after a bit of negotiating, I feel her behavior and attitude alone warrants a beware here. Very off putting in a transaction.

... Wow, her first reply to you in that screencap is absolutely appalling. I'm really sorry you had to put up with that. I can't understand why she freaked out at you so bad in that Facebook thread, even. O.o

Her attitude's been absolutely rotten anyway, especially lately-- I'm surprised people are even willing to work with her at all. :/ Any time I've seen her around FA it's always been either grossly rude comments, insulting people, or just straight-up trying to pick fights with people over fursuits or something.

At the very least, it's good that you got your full refund in the end.

That reminds me! Does using the PP refund function fully refund the other person, including the fee? I think it does, but I've never used it before so I'm not sure (I was refunded by someone once but they sent it as a personal transaction to keep PayPal from touching it, I guess).

And sorry you had to go through that, I have no idea why she feels she has to be so hostile to everyone :(

As a former friend, I constantly had to put up with her behavior like this all the time. x__x I finally decided after she rudely snapped at me on the Rarakie review, to just stop being friends with her. I didn't know she acted like this to others too. It's really sad to hear.

Alex, it really hurts me that you would say this, because it is totally untrue.
I was ALWAYS nice to you, aside from that one incident. I did everything I could for you, I gave you a ride to fwa, tried to offer you one and a room for az, and always listened to you and tried to help when you were upset. I was never mean to you alex. Unless I missed some info, all she would've had to do was confirm that she received the payment and given the purchaser and something along the lines of "Okay, the character's yours now.", which makes the attitude even more mind-boggling, IMO.

Oh lordy this girl...avoid at all costs! I swear she's just nothing but bad news. She was talked about during the whole "Rarakie fursuit drama" for being a huuuggeee white knight, but that's a whole nother story. I'm so sorry you had to go deal with that. Maybe this will show people she's a nasty person.

I've had a run-in with her also:

She commissioned me for a simple $25 fursuit reference (CLEARLY labeled with many examples: https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1NLHU0zUfVFT71ju0qiDXc_Um-_3aZLdhctOGBogAr1c ). I completed it quickly and sent it to her, and she threw a fit saying it was low-quality compared to my other art, she bashed it and demanded a full refund, even though it was 100% completed and looked just like the examples shown...

For some reason she was expecting a full detailed reference like the one I did for my boyfriend's skunk character: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7889585/ ? Even though she should have known what she was getting.
She definitely has an attitude problem; very unfortunate :(

Oh my goodness, there's no excuse for anyone to behave like that. She had plenty of time to ship the ref sheet, it's not like it's difficult to get to the post office. (Unless she can't drive, but that's something that she should have been mentioned during the transaction imo)

Recently she had commissioned me for a partial (I don't usually do things like that, don't have a TOS or anything but I thought her a friend) and spent about 40 of it on materials when she tells me she lost her job and would have issues paying the rest. I offered to refund what she gave me since I had not bought fur and I felt bad for her and ate the cost of what I had paid for.

2 days later she announced she was getting suit work done by someone else.

I explained in my hiatus journal that I was not on my meds, which are detrimental to my normalcy and me not to act crazy.
I really don't want everyone to hate me here, and I apologize for snapping at you, I was just so upset with everything that was going on, that I really didn't want to talk to anyone.

All I can do is apologize and hope I don't get attacked.
I already refunded you, which is all I can do for the business aspect, but yeah, I'm sorry.

It is good to see Marbles being very calm here as you both (Marbles and the OP) are handling the situation very well. While I cannot speak for any ill attitude that I have encountered with Marbles, I can say that she can be very sweet. It sounds like it was a combination of real life stress and a few other smaller things that built up into one big firework.

I'm sorry that you had to encounter such replies from her, but I commend you both on your current attitude <3

I want to make a final statement.

I want you all to know what this was...
This was me lashing out at a friend because I was worked up over a lot of drama and other horrible things going on in my life. Also the fact that I wasn't on my meds didn't help.
I am not a 'nasty, mean, horrible' person. And for all of you to sit and judge me based on a post is silly. You have never met me, and a lot of you a shunning ever getting to know me just because of this.


Yes I made a mistake, I am human, it happens.
I'm sure most, if not all of you have lashed out at someone and didn't mean it before, and regretted it after. The only difference is, you were not posted on a public blog for people to say terrible things about you based on one thing you had done wrong.

I have apologized and I'm pretty sure me and the op are on good terms now.
But please realise people, everyone makes mistakes, everyone has there extremely human moments of imperfection. Its not right to throw someone out to the dogs because of a silly fight.

That is how you know who your true friends are. Friends will deal with your occasional lashing out, let you cool down and the world goes on. They don't throw you out to the dogs to be ridiculed and hurt by a bunch of strangers.


Anyways, thats that.
Hopefully some of you will think about what I have said before jumping to conclusions and judging others in the future.
