PROOF AND DETAILS:
It started when I opened up for badge commissions http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3533626/ on June 7th. She commented on the journal. However she never sent the money after I gave her my info

I opened up a Marker Auction on June 13th. All the rules were clearly stated. She commented on this as well, asking to pay for the badge and the auction in one shot. I said it would be better to send them separately. Again she said she would send the badge payment that has not been received.

Not long after that my friend Novelteeth and I opened a collab auction up where she ended up bidding $70 and winning.

here are the notes saying that she was planning on paying for the auctions. And even offering us half the money that day.

She never payed for them and held us up for a while. She read our notes and did not respond until we had to remind her and asked if she was ignoring us. She owed me over $100+ until I finally told her I would put the auction back up.

When I asked her why she could not inform me sooner about not being able to pay she made up excuses about her "sick baby". I told her I would have understood and would not be mad.

When my friend commented about our collab auction she got mad and was giving her different excuses. She ended up deleting the comments on her page before I could screen cap them.

2 weeks ago she told me she sent the payment weeks ago (even though no payment has been sent or she never notified me before). I told her if the payment did not get to me within a few days to cancel it for her safety.

give her a little more time. she is a good friend of mine and a customer of mine as well.

she is currently in the hospital at the moment having a surgery procedure done. She might have to stay there at the hospital, so she may not be around for a little bit.

but she has always some way paid me here or there. either be it through a money order or paypal.

i understand she can be a little slow with payments but she is going through a healthfactor that needs her funds atm.

she still hasnt paid one of my works yet but i will be patient with her, i want to know she made it out of her surgery safely.

and yes her baby was very sick at the time.

now i just signed up to LJ to say this.

well i admit that its not very responsible or professional of her.

she's usually told me she has to wait to see how much money her husband get that week. im assuming the pay fluctuates.

but id still give her a little bit after the surgery and such, if she doesnt pay. dont offer the art and repost auctions :/

i just wouldnt put her down so much...i guess im playing favorites to some. but i really feel i shouldve been on here several times as a commissioning artist and im surprised i didnt o.o but i dont know what im saying now.

I don't think the copied paste response here was really called for.

While normally people are very understanding of medical emergencies and the like, with someone like Kuro it's hard not to call her out on "boy who cried wolf" syndrome.

Unless you know her on a personal level and can swear hands down that her child really is sick, I can't help but think of this as just another excuse.

Wow, I didn't know this was the same person as Kuro. She expressed interest some time ago in commissioning me once she had the money. I'm glad she didn't tell me she had the money right then. x_x

I'm amazed that even after the stuff that went down the last time she was posted here, she's made a brand new account and has gone back to doing it all over again-- Especially after trying before to pretend that she and KuroKitten87 were two different people. Absolutely amazed. What part of "Don't bid on anything unless you have the money right there with you" is so difficult to understand?

I get that the surgery thing was necessary and the money had to go towards that instead. That's perfectly understandable! But in that case she really should have just cancelled the commissions instead of stringing the artists along about payment, especially with the history she has.

There is no doubt that she IS Kuro, I'm one of the people she commissioned, and for awhile, the paypal she sent money from WAS the Kuro paypal. So if she's not Kuro, then she's got some explaining to do about that one.

I hate to say it, but get settled in for a long wait. She has that bad reputation for taking forever and a day to get back to you with her compensation for anything, if you even get it at all. -.-


I don't know what to say about the 'sick baby' issue. If it is true, I feel a little bad for her, but something tells me it may not be.

I don't think I've ever had a problem with her personally...but, there was one time, where I was hosting a fun lil TinyChat and she comes in, starts ranting about how people "are out to get her", and then she randomly leaves without another word. It was.....strange, but still un-needed. I was kinda tempted to ban her from the chat. :/

But yeah, don't buy commissions unless you actually HAVE the money and PLAN to pay. :/

As a mother of 2 small kids, I understand the whole kids and real life comes first. I think most people would. But as also a mom on a budget, I know that just because I see some slots open for art that I'd LOVE to get, it doesn't mean I can comment on those slots and hope I have the funds to pay them later.
It doesn't work that way. It should be common sense. You don't walk into a store and tell the clerk, "Hey I want these new clothes, but I can't pay right now, something just came up, hold these specifically for me until I somehow come up with the funds."
That would NEVER fly anywhere, not even on layaway places -_- Cause they charge you interest if you don't pay up.

Point being is, you don't have the expendable cash to pay your artists you get art from when they need payment, don't get the art. That simple.

Exactly. I don't believe a single person here would tell someone to ignore their sick child to pay for artwork; what everyone is up in arms about is the fact that she knows stuff like this comes up, yet doesn't budget for it, and STILL bids on auctions and orders art. That's where the problem lies.

i had a problem with her with an auction too. she asked to autobuy it for $250, and when i agreed and told her to send info, and partial payment on mother's day, she made excuses. she had problems with her bills and she was in the hospital for a little while, if i remember correctly. this all happened in may through june.

since i was planning to do $50 a week upon her agreement, i told her to send me info and the first payment. she never paid up the first $50. i gave her warnings and she read my notes but stopped replying. i was really disappointed, so i just took her bid out and re-did my auction. i felt bad since she wanted me to draw a bunch of anniversary pics for her and her husband? boyfriend? but.. yeah.

Then she commissioned me for a hefty amount of work, then, shortly after, rudely came into one of my streams and demanded a refund from me.

I came across a post about her on Furrytrainwreck a while back. She does this all the time and it's appalling. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've gone to random fa pages and had her whining about reasons for not paying artists. She's commissioned my sister and I a few times and we refuse to put up with her bs. We make her pay upfront and got hip to the auctions.

She's used the "My son is sick" excuse on us so many times. Either she's lying or putting her son's health on the back burner for furry art. She once told us in stream that she's getting rid of her dogs cause she can't afford them. Keep in mind this is a day after winning a $450 auction.

Personally I think everyone needs to come here and post their stories on Kit. Cause honestly people need to know what they're potentially getting themselves into.
