Zephriam on Furcadia, among many other alts. I am not sure what alts she has currently, because she's a known trader, but I know she won't part with Zephriam, and I know some alt names are listed in the thread below.

WHERE: Art trade between me and her turned commission.

WHAT: She asked for character lineart. Agreed price was $12.00. Art can be viewed [ here ]

WHEN: 2010. Image was originally submitted on my old deviantART account in August 2010.

PROOF: Screenshots of notes are provided here. I am the OP, Lau.

EXPLAIN: Originally, this started as an art trade. Then we decided she'd pay me 12 dollars paypal for the art. And then she never paid, and when I tried to contact her about it, repeatedly, she always never had the money or had some sort of crisis. While commissioning and paying other artists. I didn't want to resort to this but I see no other options. All details are explained in the thread linked in "Proof".

Consent To Post Logs

Some ToS claims that you may not post logs or images of your conversation. This is not true. Understand that while doing so may result in removal from their site or game.

How this works:

Passive Consent:

When you agree to certain terms of service, one of the things you often agree to is that you are aware your conversation with any said person is being recorded and may be used for administrative purposes. This does not mean that they are giving others the right to log your conversations, or use them in any way. However. If a person has warned you that they are logging the conversation, and you continue to contact them anyway, you are then giving them as an individual "Passive Consent" to do so.

This in and of itself does not give them the right to share this information with others.

However, lets be realistic. A logfile, or a screenshot, is the digital equal to someone calling their friend up saying, "So-and-so said this". Fact of the matter is, it is less disputable, because it records the action happening.

So, my advice to this...Zephriam person, is pay the 12 bucks, and be an honest person... Or, don't pay and accept that you made a bad decision. Fact of the matter is, it is not illegal for them to post screenshots of something that happened. Administration can decide whether it is necissary, and if not, take it down, but good luck with that since you owe someone money...

DA, if I remember right, doesn't have any issues with notes being pasted, (Otherwise a lot of A_B posts would be out of luck, I think.) however, I know it's against Furcadia's TOS to post whisper logs without the consent of the person you're whispering. But I never posted whisper logs, so... yeah. xD

I've since modified and released the lineart as free by request, so I'm calling it a loss on the $12 and moving on, to be honest.

Its not your fault that I had to deal with it, but thank you anyway. c:
