EXPLAIN: I happened across this image while browsing, looking through her gallery, and the image itself, it's clearly traced. I commented as you can see above asking the artist to cite her source, and the image was replaced with the above overlay as 'proof' she didn't trace. This artist attempted to trace a photograph for monetary gain, and should be avoided.

Did you morf my original picture..? Honestly it looks like you did. I drew the dress longer than that. Also look at the ruffles closer...Want me to red circle all the differences? There are many lines that arent exact. I thnk you all just want to start drama. :/

No, I didn't, I held shift during transform to keep the original size of the image as I tried to scale it correctly (it's something you can do in SAI).
There are some that are different, yes, but many that match that I could also point out as well.
And no, I'm not, I'm putting my input in as well. This community is for discussion, not "trolling drama from haters" as you seem to be making it out to be.

Also yes you can place your imput, but do you want me to red line all the differences because i still see lines that dont like up, and i dont mean the arms.
As for the FA rules they change so often I don't even know anymore.

If you hold shift when using the transform option on a layer, it keeps the original size and shape of the image so there is no warping of the image. It allows you to re-scale something without accidentally making it too wide or long.

It's not necessary, because I believe the sketch was done with no pen pressure (as it seems to me) so the sketch lines are very sharp and of course not going to match up exactly with the dress's folds. My point is very specific folding areas (like the "v" where the front and side of the dress start to come together, for example) match up too well to have it simply be referencing.
And the rules are the same (unless stated in an update), it's the admin's call on things. You still need to cite your sources.

Redrawing won't solve the problem, really this beware is more a statement of something you have done (which is gone now but still shouldn't have been done) and a warning that you may do it in the future.
The best route you could have taken (a bit too late for it) would have been to come and calmly admitted to it, or shown some more evidence and try to explain without claiming this was posted out of spite and claiming OP was a troll. The additional angry posts on FA don't help either. I understand this isn't a pleasant situation, but it's not professional.
I advise that if this ever happens again try to completely leave your feelings out of it and just try to calmly explain your point of view with evidence. If you really did trace, it would be 100% better for you to admit it and just move on from it. It's a much better route than continuously saying you didn't when there's evidence you did.

You...didn't even draw the part that was traced in the video, it proves nothing. If anything that just makes it more apparent the original was traced.

No one's telling you not to reference - We're telling you not to trace.
Your source should always be in your original post - because you're using information from another person. It's a matter of respect.
