Two months of waiting on a 'completed' picture

What: Digital art. A drawing of two of my anthro pokemon characters.

When: I sent Spazzy an email back in October 10th 2014 and I got a reply about it on the same day. After being told how long it would take, I've not heard a single word about that commission from Spazzy.

Proof: All screenshots files has a timestamp of my taskbar. I did not blur out the artist's email name because it's the same as the Furaffinity one and I did not blur out my own Furaffinity name to prove that it's me posting those comments in two of the files but my Deviantart profile has my legal name in it so I blurred that out. I used paint to put together a few of the screenshots to lower the amount of files.

The commission mail exchange, I did not hear from Spazzy again about this after telling me how long it would take.

Roughly three months later she announced that she was open for commissions.

Almost two weeks ago where I poked Spazzy about the commission that I had not yet recieved. I didn't get a reply. Included the latest shout on the profile about someone else who's having undelivered art from Spazzy and two comments from her latest journal, both of which got no replies.

Explain: Spazzy accepted a commission from me. I paid her on October 10th 2014 and after that day I did not hear from her about it again. She has though kept announcing that she's open for commissions and several people have been posting their concerns about her not responding to their mails and not being on the commission queue list.


EDIT: I once again today poked Spazzy about my missing commission, and finally I got a reply from her.

However in the mail that I sent, which was the same string of replies as the original commission mail exchange, she revealed that it wasn't done yet but that she would try to get it finished in the next couple days. I will poke her again about it on Thursday if I haven't gotten a reply yet to find out how it's going.

EDIT: The picture has been finished and sent to me. After 4 days I decided to give Spazzy a poke on email again since she said "next few days". She responded 10 hours later saying that she had had computer problems with the latest windows update and that she promised to deliver on it before she headed to bed. She also mentioned that she had been pointed to the two uploads about her on here and she was very apologetic about it. Around half past 5am pst she delivered and I'm very happy with it.

I think it's time for anyone who's owed by her to report her to FA staff in hope they freeze her page or something. She's just opened up for MORE commissions, and deleted all the comments on her page (?) concerning old commissions. Someone commented in her journal that they're still waiting for a response, I don't think it's likely anyone will get theirs.

I honestly doubt she'll even deliver on that "in the next few days". Even then, I try to be patient in general but if she hasn't delivered in the next 2 weeks I'll report her to FA staff, because after seeing a comment like that, she's on a time limit with me now.

If you think there's any chance of you getting a reply/your commission any time soon.. then by all means. I'm just saying, judging by all the people who I see commenting saying they've been waiting on replies for MONTHS... you might want to get your FA report in sooner, (in case the staff takes awhile)... to limit the time it takes for them to possibly stop her from taking more commissions on the site. The sooner, the better, I guess?

You might be right since she said in that journal that she'll only take commissions for another month... then again, I don't want to seem too impatient... eh, in 6 days I'll report her, she'll have had a week by then.

No surprise. And someone else left a comment on the March commission journal with the links to the A_B posts about Spazzy. IDK if they got an LJ, because if they did, they're breaking A_B's rules.

Created today for the sole purpose of circumventing our rules. Folks should know that in by doing this you're actually putting the community in jeopardy.

Sorry but I don't understand, why would it be against the rules? It's called artists beware right? I don't think they made the post as an attack but as a disclaimer for people out there.

We try very hard to avoid giving Livejournal any reason to consider us a harassment/attack community. This includes having a strict rule in place about third parties going to the pages of the people involved to comment about the issue, regardless of their intentions.

There's only so much we can do, of course, but it would be nice if people would respect us and our community enough to follow our rules, especially if they're going to use it. It's not a lot to ask, and it's unfortunate that people make sockpuppets specifically to get around it.

I got a reply again from spazzy last night which I will edit into the post in up to 4½ hours from the time I post this reply. She's seen both of the posts about her on here and she seemed really apologetic about it. Also, according to her, that someone was her "friend", and (s)he used a generic anon name on a new profile to make that comment. The reason I'm waiting a bit to edit my post with it is because spazzy in the same reply promised that she'd send the finished work to me before she head to bed and that she usually stay up to 6am pst. So I'm giving her until then to send me the art so I won't have to make two rapid edits on the post and instead just combine it into one edit.

EDIT: My bad, it wasn't a friend of hers that made the comment, it was just a friend that pointed it out to her.

Sorry if I'm not optimistic about this but I think she only completed it because she found out about the AB posts, just because she finished one commission doesn't mean she doesn't have outstanding commissions with her other clients. I would keep a close eye on her if I were you guys.
