It occurs to me this guy just thought he’d IM me, spam me a pic and I’d do him some art (for free) and he’s considerably irked that I didn’t do it there and then. As soon as I can get it sorted, this guy’s being blocked…

I dunno about you, but a LOT of people 'round these parts actually took the whole week off. And then there's family visits, etc, etc.

Not saying you're wrong... but... a lot of folks were basically gone for a week. ;)

But yeah, more people looking at the posting queue would be good.

If it was a one-time thing due to the holidays I'd just go "Meh."
But posts take several days to approve more often than not, they accumulate and sometimes become outdated before they're even posted.
I think the latter is the most annoying part really, you can't remove or amend a post while it's pending review and when they are approved and have a bad link or something there's 20 "The link doesn't work" comments before you come back from work/school/dreamland and can fix it.
I would very much approve of more mods, even if they're just lackeys who check pending posts.

I was just thinking how weird it was that everyone was complaining all at once. I thought it was like yawning - you see one person do it, you start doing it yourself. :-)

This happened the last time a bunch of posts appeared, noone modded anything for like two weeks, then suddenly the last two weeks of posts show up.
