I had hoped that this next weekend I would post a "resolved" post but when I got home from my aunt's funeral tonight I found this message in my inbox:

She refers to a bad-dealings thread on taxidermy.net where the only new message I had posted in reply since posting here and getting to see this dispute nearly resolved was a link to her artists-beware post, pointing out how she had reacted to it. That was going to be my last post concerning her, plus the resolution post when I did get my plush. It seems the post was removed, and I have a few PMs on those forums urging me to post my warning again as my own warning, and not Bob's (I had only been replying to his post about his bad dealings with her to share my own).

Then I found this beauty:

the top thread is from her fanpage on facebook and the very bottom of that image is from taxidermy.net. At the top she mentions giving me a day or so, and in her facebook PM the only thing she asks for is me removing my posts.

I am unsure what to do at this point. Thoughts?


ETA: Rereading that thread, I do want to clarify the "stay at home artist with no kids" comment that gets mentioned about the other forum as it seems to be lost on some critics: I meant that she was just a stay at home artist, and could not use kids as a valid reason for not working as that would be an understandable reason to me.

She makes some untrue statements in the comments as well as the main post, though that should be obvious to everyone by now. If there is a comment or statement she made that you want my side to just let me know. She does mention that I apologized to her here in the comments for some reason but I did not do that, at all, as can be seen.

ETA4: she deleted that post on furhideandbone. It got to around 40 comments (that I have saved via email if they're needed for whatever reason), mostly of people telling her to cool off. She deleted it and reposted this:

ETA5: I'm in the coffee shop now with nyaro and have picked up the plushie. Plushie-wise, this issue is resolved now. I'm in love all over again, it's like when I first got Babette who is my favorite ever.

I...really don't know what you're talking about. o.O I posted a message on taxidermy.net to simply state the experiences I've had with Skullgrrl (that I have never had any problems with her as a buyer) without talking about anyone else except Grygon and how I was still going to get her stuff to her. I know one of our group messaged at least one person in regard to something they posted, but I've been told by that person that they weren't actually rude...just misinformed.

The rest are, as far as I'm aware, completely uninterested in flaming anyone, even Grygon (I'd be really surprised if they were. They're not that kind of people). Any messages we actually posted were in our fan group to express sympathy for her issues with Grygon, who many of us have met or know in real life and have had issues with ourselves.

I myself am trying to connect with her so she can get her side of the trade, which both she and Darien agreed on as the way they wished the transaction to be finished. And though I'm regretting agreeing to it now due to Grygon's constant dragging of my friends (via the group) into this issue, I will still make sure it goes through.

Ans...I'd really appreciate it if people would stop judging us based on so little evidence. And don't tell me "then you shouldn't be friends with such a bitch" because honestly...that's just sad. That's the best you can come up with? She's a good person who snapped. Whoop dee doo. If I actually thought she meant to dole out bodily harm to Grygon, I'd be out of there, but she's just mad. People get mad. It happens. It's not necessarily okay for it to happen, but if we really care about a person, we tend to smack them upside the head, forgive, and move on instead of abandoning them at the first sign of trouble.

I think she's got enough in the way of punishment for this anyways, considering how many negative opinions she's garnered.

At work on my break now so just have a second to ask: what issues? Because aside from this past week issues with skullgrrl, this is news to me. I've met a few of you for a few brief moments at conventions and that is it. And, as others have said- those issues, none of which are business related, have anything to do with this post. If they're personal opions or biases, that is not on me- that is their personal issue and none of mine.

Which is why I have not detailed them in any post here. The issues I'm concerned with now are the posts you have repeatedly made slandering my friends and I simply because we happen to think Darien is right or even because we are in a group centered on something that happens to be her creation. We are not enablers or people who would jump someone for any reason. And there are like...6 people actually posting any sort of replies to Darien's rants out of 57. It's not fair for you to treat us all like dirt just because of that and enable other people who don't even know us at all to make similar opinions about us.

Does that make sense at all?

Your reply made it seem like they had past issues with me, now you are saying they are just issues with my refering to them in the two warning posts. Which are not prior issues. And I have not slandered anyone here, so no it does not make sense to me still.

I don't think I'm supposed to explain prior issues here. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned them at all, but I did, so oh well. There are some prior issues. Not just the most recent ones of your posts which included us.

And You called us enablers. lol Like we're egging Darien to do all the things she's done. And made it seem like we want to start a flame war. And your posting of that second group convo has led to several people making negative comments about us as Darien's "followers" when the group as a whole has done nothing to you at all except agree with Darien that this whole thing sucks.

And actually, the only reason I posted is because of the whole idea that you feel the need to bring friends with you when you meet me. If you hadn't formed any sort of negative opinion about me or my friends, why would you do that? Do you really think I'd call everyone up and they'd come running, eager to give you a good smacking? It just boggles my mind. And it's honestly a bit offensive, considering that I have never done anything to you or anyone else to suggest I'd be capable of that sort of horribleness.

Then it should be noted for readers: I have had very little personal (social) interaction, and NO business interaction, with this group of people at very small conventions (I think the largest was 300ish people). This is all. I was unaware of any bad feelings of them towards me. So these "prior issues" that are brought up and not divulged are 1. news to me and 2. not related to this post.

I think you have the meaning of an enabler wrong. Enablers do not egg people on, I did not say that (again, do not put words in my mouth please). The 2nd link was important because yes, you WERE threatening to withhold it (and it was skullgrrl who told you not to). That was enabling her and was important to show. I have not seen many (or any?) comments calling you her "follower"- if you can, link me there. Most folks do not even mention you guys, they are focused on skullgrrl.

And you really ask why I formed a negative opinion about that thread? Maybe come back and reread it in a week, a month, a year, and see it with different eyes. I also never said I thought you'd resort to violence- just that I do not take that kind of stuff lightly.

Actually, I did buy a necklace from you once. Very prettily carved out of deer horn if I recall correctly. It had a thin leather band.

I will agree that they have nothing to do with Darien, which is why I didn't bother elucidating anyone on the subject. Since they still have nothing to do with this particular problem, I apologize for mentioning them at all. But if you're so keen to know, there they are.

Was there a problem with that transaction? You're right, we did business and until now I had forgotten. I think someone else from the group also bought a tail and came back for another pin... was that transaction not smooth?

That was between me and my sister, I was flamed by the person in question who didn't even understand what was going on (I can show the cap and where she didn't get it) who then defriended me. I can upload the screen caps to post them if anyone needs proof or is curious. But as I said on that a_b post, my FB is friends-only and very private, so this would seriously be hard for me (but I'll do it, if it is needed).

I was a bit appalled when I first saw this was going on a few days ago and was in a defensive mood because of it. So if I was snippy, I really would like to apologize for that.

Now that I look back on it, there probably wasn't a need to post at all. But I do appreciate that the members of a_b are so civil. :)
