WHO:  Kee/Kyme/Inarolyn/Iaz/Janks/Len/Neicom


WHERE:  http://www.furaffinity.net/user/kee (all the above are also FA accounts that she has hopped between, but Kee is her current).

WHAT: Tracing. Most of the traces are partial and have been "frankensteined".


WHEN: This has been going on for awhile from what I have been able to figure.

EXPLAIN: Again, I was asked to post this here by several people after compiling multiple instances of her tracing of recent. A lot of people felt a public warning should be made, since she jumps accounts quite frequently. She's also traced several times in the past, but I haven't been able to locate the originals.

Almost all the traces have been of artists whom she's watching, the only exception being my own art.

There were a few others that were TCBY commissions that I am certain were traced, but I never saved the files.



As is evidenced, her anatomy flipflops from really well done, to filled with errors. If anyone can provide originals for some of the suspected traces, it'd be appreciated as well. NO ONE improves that greatly in a five month period, drawing as rarely as she does. I don't think everything she uploads/draws is traced, but much of it is.

I don't have much to say to 1 as I can see your point.

2) I hadn't spoken to or about her in weeks. The day I returned from suspension, she posted something that looked incredibly like my featured submission of the time, which is what prompted me to go through the gallery. I put off posting here for quite a bit and only did so at the bequest of other artists and watchers.

3) While it may be hard to believe, I didn't know anything about the shift key preserving ratios or notice it was distorted. I even went back and redid the overlays for a few to show that they STILL matched up in several areas with a preserved ratio.

I realize it isn't the best of evidence, since it's still only partial traces and not entire pieces, but I would think the fact that there are so many that just HAPPEN to match up with several pieces of art by other people is no coincidence.

Just so you know, the avidence isn't all Acorn's. Plenty of examples were given from various other artists.

Indeed. However, I am not arguing for an ad populum argument, I am just saying that to show that Acorn isn't being biased or coloured in this accusation.

You haven't proven that other people came to this conclusion independently, but I haven't claimed that she's doing this as a grudge (or if I have it's been extremely recently). However, that doesn't mean there's no bias. Bias can exist in many people, as you can see any time a popular artist posts something.

Actually, yes they are the only ones I tried. I didn't even touch the Ajna one because others here provided sufficient evidence imo that it didn't match. If necessary, I can redo overlays for the rest.

I think there's a good chance she referenced those poses, but not traced them. She should state that she referenced them, but I personally think the evidence for tracing is far fetched in this case (but I've told you this already). There is a possibility that she could have traced, but there really isn't enough evidence to say for sure that she did. I just think it's a really bad idea to have really flimsy evidence like this and just automatically say she traced. You know what happens when people are accused of tracing; they get flamed and possibly banned. What if that happened to her and she was innocent? I'm just going by "innocent until proven guilty", not the other way around. It's only fair.

Yes, I understand your view. I'm just extremely frustrated over this, and I am probably coming off a hell of a lot more aggressive than intended. I am not calling for a witch hunt or someone to go attacking her.

I actually wanted this to serve as a warning to her to understand that doing stuff like this isn't okay, and if she continues, she'll probably be caught by other people who will take it much more seriously.
